and was told she could get a "junior suite" at SSR. It was described to her as having 2 queen size beds, a full kitchen, and a second queen size bed in a different room. She was also told there would be 2 baths. I told her this doesn't sound right to me. She also said something about there being French doors. At first I thought it sounded like a studio with the living room portion only, but I didn't see how that could be. She said there isn't a king bed or second bedroom. She is traveling with her father, her husband, and their teen age daughter. I suspect what she is actually getting is a one bedroom with the king size bed. I told her to bring an air mattress for her DD, but she is sure she won't need it. Any ideas what CRO could have been telling her about? They are going in January.

Minus the "full kitchen" that sounds to me like they were describing the Deluxe room at the Wilderness Lodge, which has 2 queen beds in the main bedroom which is seperated by french doors from the living room which has a sleeper sofa. It only has one bath room and does not have a kitchen, but that is the only thing I can think of that even "sort of" fits that description.

I would suggest she call back and ask a different CM to verify what she has booked.

Have her double check if CRO quoted her SSR or CSR! Sounds like the latter.

I agreed - she needs to call back and confirm. the resort.

Minus the kitchen, it is exactly the jr. suite at Coronado Springs. We just got back from there, and stayed in one of those.

In fact, the Junior Suites at resorts such as WL have wee kitchenettes, about the same as we would expect in a DVC studio. Perhaps that's what she heard as "kitchen."

This is pretty much what I thought, but she specifically said Saratoga when I asked her where she was staying. I thought about the jr. suite at WL too. I will see her tomorrow and will suggest that she call back to confirm so she doesn't get any surprises. Hope she listens.

Be sure to post back and let everyone here know what you find out. Now we're all curious.... :confused3
