We can use her airline points if we tag along on her trip! So it would be 2 moms vs. 4 kids. The thing is that we have another trip in the works for later in the year, so this trip would have to be super budgeted. She wants to stay onsite at Beach Club which will not be possible for us.

So I am trying to decide what hotel my 7 yo and I should stay at. I could consider moderate hotels b/c that bumps us up to free regular dining plan rather than QS..or value.

We usually stay offsite when we want a nice hotel (due to mobility issues of family members who aren't traveling on this trip) , or stay at AS if we are going budget...so I am rusty on other WDW hotels. Where would you stay, if you knew that you would be meeting up with Beach Club guests...Is there a moderate that has access to the same waterway? or a value that has easy access to Beach Club....or should I just be cheap and plan on meeting up at the Parks and we just figure out our own transport?

The only non-deluxe hotels around the BC are the Swan and Dolphin. No other moderate or value hotels share the water way around the Boardwalk area.

Riverside or Caribbean Beach aren't too far from the BC, but you would still have to meet at the parks.

Thank You!! That is what I was coming up with too...I was just hoping that there was something that I was overlooking!
