My FP+ success story…..

Details, Wis. Details.

You accused me of making a misleading statement because I neglected to include a specific word or two. My point is you were attempting to negatively portray a business strategy by indicating it required one of two seemingly limited and expensive choices.

Had you added the words "or an annual pass for a full year of access to both", to include what may be deemed by others as an attractive option, your statement would have been correct.

As you pointed out to me, a poorly worded comment can constitute inaccurate and misleading information.

You do see the irony right? You're telling Wis that if they had added "or an annual pass FOR A FULL YEAR of access to both" to their statement then it wouldn't have been misleading. Yet, a power pass (the one you're quoting in price) does not give you access for a full year.

You're correct; it would have been fully accurate if Wis had added "or a premium annual pass for a full year of access to both".

Looks like that option is $295. Still a favorable alternative to $176 for a three day ticket.

How many times are you going to post the same response? You posted the exact same thing at 5:11pm, post #240. Was that the end of your shift and now your back to resume the defense but forgot where you left off? I swear, it's like you guys are a tag team. :rotfl2:

How many times are you going to claim you're just misunderstood? That you are being "attacked" by some gang of Disney defenders? I respond to posts as I see fit, but you will attempt, like always, to marginalize anyone who disagrees with you as part of some sheeple group.

After you feign innocence and complain about the attacks you usually go for misdirection by taking comments out of context. I know I don't post a whole lot but that's seriously all you could find? It's like you're running off some kind of playbook.

Entirely not true and rather insulting to suggest that I have naive expectations of going to a park for 4 hours mid day and walk on everything on a holiday week without utilizing any strategy.

So........... I take it you agree?
Lake, I think we can find some common ground for agreement. I might (gasp) even say you might be right about something, but I need some more information first.

I realize now, after prematurely giving you credit earlier for being a more savvy WDW visitor, that when you said that 'someone has to be happy with three attractions in a day and long lines for everything else', which was clarified to 'if someone wants to sleep in they have to be happy with three attractions in a day and long lines for everything else', to find value in WDW you were talking about yourself and a specific experience you had.

I still find both of those statements, as they are, to be false. That doesn't necessarily mean you are wrong, we just need to make the statements more complete, flesh them out with a little detail. I've shared details of my specific experiences using FP+, so let's hear yours.

So the day you slept in, showed up at the park late, used your three FP+, then found nothing but long lines for everything else.......what exactly was your touring strategy? What park, when did you arrive, what three attractions did you FP+, and when did you leave the park?

Once we know that we can fashion a statement regarding your experience that we can agree on, and is both factual and informative. How cool will that be after 19 pages?!!!

And in other news of the FP+ good news isn't really good news....

Around 7:30 this morning, 30 days out for Sunday February 7--FP+ for 6 for TSMM with 4 choices of time slots between 1:40 and 6.

Can't go that day, though.

But here is a dancing banana to unnecessarily celebrate the acquisition of an Appt for a 2 minute activity.

Now back to your scheduled arguing that brings much less joy than a 2 minute ride.:flower3:

I've been going to WDW since it opened. I've been suggesting viable strategies to first timers for years. I know when to go and when not to go, what to ride and when to ride it. I DON'T expect to be able to walk into any of the parks at any time of any day and be able to walk onto anything, much less the headliner attractions. And that is exactly what my posts have been about, that such expectations ARE NOT reasonable.

So........... I take it you agree?

Would you agree that this predates FP+?

Because when you argue against it, it seems you pin much on that. At least that is my impression. But from my observations--your statement applies over the years and are independent of FP+.

Hang in there, Laketravis.

I presume you grapple with the mob because you enjoy it. But YEESH! :sad2:

I just hope you don't tire, because I appreciate your point of view and find your posts helpful.

Have a great day! :flower3:

LOL! Thanks. I was the one kid in elementary school who never ran away from the bullies, I always ran towards them.

Some things never change :)
