I think no fortune is supposed to mean bad luck!

But then again, they (whoever "they" are) say a bird pooping on you is good luck and last week while talking to her, my neighbor got pooped on and tripped and fell in her yard, so I think "they" are lying

The thing that bothers me about messages in fortune cookies is that, most of the time, they aren't fortunes. They are just thoughts or sayings. I want my fortune!

DH agrees with you wholeheartedly. I wish he would just get over it already. NOPE, has to comment every time he has a fortune cookie.

As for when they come true, a friend of mine in college always said you had to not only eat the cookie but had to eat it BEFORE you read the fortune. Her family owned a Chinese restaurant.
