Thank you all. We are done to almost single digits until he is home. Just trying to get through everyday until it's time.

My husband and I are moving. We have received orders for the Pentagon. I have no idea what this will mean for him being at home. I already know he will be gone 6 months next year for training but hey I can get to GA for a visit. Getting to Iraq is a little trickier and worse on my hair.

Ya'll know when it's really close because I'm going to be bouncing off the walls excited and needing something to pass the time.

Those dang deserts can really wreak havoc with your hair .

That is GREAT news!! I was going to ask if he had a brother too but then I remembered I am already married--how about "does he give husband lessons"??

Thanks ya'll. I woke up today knowing it's another day closer. I'm so ready I can't even begin to describe it.

Anyways, yes my husband became a Sargeant First Class as of Oct 1st and will be at the Pentagon or at least that's what the orders say.

He will be in Augusta, GA at school in Ft. Gordon for 6 months next year.


Yes, Matt has a brother. He will be 18 in December. I would gladly give him away to the lowest bidder but my mother in law comes with him. It's a package deal


OHHHHHHHHH that is news. My MIL is NOT coming to be here. She won't fly, drive or take the bus. I have offered to pay for any way for her to get here. HOWEVER, I'm an evil woman because I WILL NOT GO GET HER!! I was having a very loud conversation in the commissary about it last week. I haven't heard back from her so I can' only imagine that I will get an earful anyday now about it. Oh joy.

Another day down, so glad to almost be done. Still trying to hold off on that leg shaving thing. It's supposed to be cold soon.
