My first trip to WDW and DH's first time being arrested (Dec 2009)

Hi Lee,
I am anxiously awaiting a new installment.

This will give me something to read when we return home from the football game!!!! Might need a good pick me up considering the team we are playing tonight!
I ope your team did great.:cheer2:

YAY!!!! I can't wait! I'm so hooked
Thankyou.:flower3:

Hi Lee,

Just wanted to say this is the best report I have ever read. It is really keeping me going day by day. Right now things are really tough, my husband is waiting for a heart transplant and some days are really tough on me being everything is falling on me as mother, father and wife. So to read your report it helps me toescape from my own life even for just a moment.
Keep writing and I have to agree with other here that you should write a book you really have a gift for words.

God Bless you and Rig.
Wow, I am really sorry to hear this. I will put you and your husband on the prayer list.
What a strong woman you are though, being everything to everyone, I am sure it's not easy. I am glad that you have an escape here on the dis. It really is a great place for Disney lovers.

Look forward to hearing about your day at HWS!!
Thankyou, it was a fun day too.

Yay. Can't wait.

Poor Rig got bit on BTMRR, I can only imagine what type of injuries he sustains on RnRC.:
:laughing:Rig doesn't get bit, punched or kicked for the rest of the vacation.
And your earlier post, way earlier about youwouldn't have stopped the fight, you would have helped Rig put the beat down on Truck, that was priceless:lmao:

Yippee! I will have to write myself a reminder to come back and check! Looking forward to more!
i'll help you, just print this out. NOTE TO SELF...READ RIGLEE'S REPORT.;)

:So glad you are choosing to continue!!:cool1::goodvibes
We are leaving in about an hour to pick the kids up from school and surprise them with our trip to Disney! Have a great week and I will be looking forward to catching up when we get back!!
You have a great trip, of course you won't know I said that until you get back, but still have a great trip.

Well geez.

Write it or don't write it, life goes on. You don't seem to me to be the kind of person who would let a little criticism get in her way.

EDIT:

I thought not. Good.
I got to feeling sorry for myself, but it passed, I won't be a quitter.:cutie:

I can't even imagine how you must of felt that night with out Rig! I'm so sorry this happened to both of you.
DH and I are not close with our family either. He hasn't talked to his mother or brother in years because of something they did. I haven't talked to my sister in a long time either. I'm close with my mom and grandmother and both of our fathers passed away before we had kids. We have 2 amazing kids and we just celebrated our 20th anniversary. The family we don't have we make up for with friends.
Not only is this the best TR I've ever read, but it's the best book, too. (Not saying I don't think it's real with my book comment, I believe it 100%)
I'm thrilled you decided to continue.
What did you think of Big Brother last night? I know you said you were recording it to watch it with Rig so I won't spoil it for you.
It's scary being in an unfamiliar place and having something bad happen to the person you love, It was awful that night, but people can only grow and get stronger from things like that.

thanks for the huge compliment. It's a huge boost for me.

Big brother was so good, and I think kathy handled being put up and evicted with such class.

It is Delswife and I am friends with her on Facebook. She documents things in her life, her and her hubby are both hilarious people. The trip reports and her blog are not 75% embellisments and fiction, she has a fantastic writing ability just like RigLee or many others on this board.

I look forward to your next installment RigLee.
Thankyou for putting me up there with somebody who is obvioulsy really liked as a writer.

I will look forward to your next report!
side note.... How about that big Brother last night?! Not as dramatical as I had hoped. But I did love Britneys dance as she walk down the hall from her vote, and then her very straight face as she opened the door. I have to admitt i felt bad for Kathy... I wonder what will happen this week...
Britanys dance was so funny, but the walking back into the room straight faced was even funnier, I would love to see her win. But Matt really is a smart player.

WHEW! I made it through all 44 pages in one sitting. And I still need to shower for work---work that starts in 45 minutes!!!. Luckily I am on 10 days of "Staycation" starting tomorrow and can keep coming back for more ;)
I've skipped the majority of "is it true or is it fake" but in scrolling to your posts they are hard to miss. But I say WHO CARES?!? Just keep the story coming ;)~
Thankyou for reading, 44 pages in one sitting, my butt would be screaming "Give me a break"
I am going to just keep writing. thank you for your support.

:dance3: this is my happy dance!!! :dance3: can't wait for tonight! This will make up for the fact I missed Big Brother (both episodes) this week. :scared1:
I always feel like I am missing something when I miss an episode of big brother, or whatever else happens to my favorite show at the time. I will be checking around like, yea, I have my keys, here's my cell phone, what am I missing? Oh yea, that;s right, I missed Big Brother.:lmao:

So much enjoying your report, please keep it coming. :thumbsup2
thank you and I will.

Lee,
I can't wait for the next installment. I hope the rest of your trip is uneventful.
it's pretty uneventful, maybe a few things to say wow about, but nothing major, no fights, no arrests, no biting Rig on rides. (not hard anyway;)

:cool1::dance3: can't wait till tonight
:)

I am loving your trip report Lee! Subscribing!

Your Rig must be something else! The "I got hit by a truck" line- very clever!
He is something else. when friends would ask us our vacation went Rig would say "I got bit on the train, hit by a truck and thrown in jail."
Wow!

After much reading and then skipping some pleas for you to continue, I have finally procrastinated a full day of work!! What better way to spend a Friday than to read about someone's crazy vacation at Disney!

Thank you for sharing your story so far. I love the nickname Babylee. It's weird, but my mother's name is Lee, but full name is Lenore. Very pretty. My boyfriend's nickname for me is Dainty Little Princess, or DLP for short. Mainly named so for not being very dainty at times... I call him Jerkopotomas for when he is in a bad mood. The noise a jerkopotomas makes is "Mer", so every time he starts up I "mer", which makes him crack a smile.

Anyways, please continue with the trip talk and can't wait for the new installment. Writing talent you have much of, young one. You are very lucky to have such a wonderful man in your life.:cheer2:

I love reading trip reports, this place is great for getting your dis junkie needs.
I love that Rig calls me Babylee. I don't really have any cute nicknames for Rig, (that I can call him in public) I either call him Rig, or cowboy. he wouldn't want me to tell people what I call him in private.

As far as, total/partial fact or fiction, I think we all have our opinions which is the advantage of living in a free country and the way it should be. But either way, both ladies have written very funny trip reports that are enjoyable to read. Riglee's writing style shows her young age whereas Del's Wife's writing is more polished and mature. But both are funny!:lmao:
True, so true, opnions are still legal.:lmao:

Ok, it's 6:30, I've got a cold beer, just ate dinner, I'm waiting for the next chapter!! lol. I know, it's also Friday. and why am I watching an episode of COPS taking place in my city? I probably shouldn't.

Happy Friday everyone!
Rigs friends used to joke with him, and some still do about seeing him on cops, "Disneyworld"

Lee, I really am enjoying your TR. It sounds like an amazing trip and I cannot wait to hear more about it!
thank you. It was an AMAZING TRIP!

It's going to be a busy weekend ofr me guys, I will still update daily, but my chapters won't be as long, they'll probably be broken up alot. But the end of next week slows down for me and I will get alot done then.
thank you all for your patience, have a great night and I will see ya'll on the dis tomorrow.

"Now who in their right mind wants to be dropped straight down like that?!"

"I do, woman."

:rotfl: That just had me cracking up Lee!

"Now who in their right mind wants to be dropped straight down like that?!"

:rotfl: That just had me cracking up Lee!

that had me :lmao: too!! My hubby would say the exact same thing to me

Give me the spinning pink demons any day of the week, y'all can keep ToT and RnR.

DH took me on RnR once and I jacked up my shoulder something serious. It was already aggravated by our car accident. Everest didn't even hurt it but RnR had me in tears the rest of the weekend.

ToT, I took all the kids on this one, even DD4, she screamed like all get out and I just hated the feeling of falling while having a child clamped down on me. She didn't bite me (LOL) but she just about cut off all the circulation in my arm.

great chapter! I promised nebo I wuld try TOT just once. that was itl just once. I hate heights. but I kinda ruined the ride for myself, cause I missed all the cool stuff to see downt he hallway. I kept my eyes closed so I wouldn't see how high we were, in case they oened the doors!:rotfl:
in the picture, you can only see the back of my head.. I am burying my face in nebo's chest! (I could totally understand the biting thing!)
now big thunder, though, is my FAVORITE! nebo sayd I have hwat he calls a "perma grin" on that whole ride.

"Sweet Jesus, Sweet Jesus." I wasn't taking my lords name in vain, it was just the best I could do to muster any kind of prayer.

Boy do I understand this line all too well!:lmao: I have a love/hate relationship with this ride. It is exhilarating and and scary all at the same time, yet I ride it at least once every time we go.

I said I wasn't going home and checking, I am so tired after a date with my hubby tonight, and have a bit of a headache from the LOUD band...but here I am at 1am. I had to peek! Good for you going on ToT, I did it once, I wanted to try it. I actually love dit but my stomach can't handle it anymore. RnRC, never been on, unfortunatly it opened after my motion sickness issues began. But I have heard the rumors of some possible replacements for Aerosmith and I am hoping it isn't Bon Jovi, cause if it is I will have to do the ride, getting sick or not, cause I LOVE Bon Jovi.

Yeah! Update! :-D I rode RnRC on our first trip. It was actually REALLY fun! I'm not really a coaster person, but I wanted to try at least 1 "Disney" roller coaster and RnRC one seemed like the most tame. I'm working on getting up the guts to try ToT and the other roller coasters on our next trip...we'll see how that goes!

I rode ToT once when I was 12 and then refused to go on it again despite my brother begging me too (it's his favorite). I am now 24 and promised my brother I'd ride this past April. Well let's just say you did a lot better than me, I actually went in the bathroom and got sick beforehand because I was so nervous:sick:. But, lo and behold, I ended up rather enjoying it and rode it three times. I still shake while I'm riding and for about five minutes after but I'm smiling. I figure it's just my bodies fight or flight reaction lol. Anyway, here's to you :worship:

Phew! 46 pages, I did loads of laundry in between...woke my 5yo dd up f/nighttime potty, nursed and put the baby back to sleep and I finally reached page 47. :woohoo: Loving your writing RigLee. So many times I wanted to cheat and jump ahead pages. Once around page 40, your post count jumped up one and I was so tempted. LOL

I pictured you from around page 3 as Novalee from "Where the Heart Is". The earlier Novalee at the beginning of the movie, not the slightly jaded one toward the end. And I kept thinking of Cord and Jet from "The Amazing Race", too! I can't wait to read more. You seem a little sad. :( I hope all this internet hubbub hasn't gotten you down. Keep writing.

Thanks for another great installment! I can't wait to see if you went on Rock'N Rollercoaster! I finally went for the first time last trip....my family isn't into the thrill rides (well, my DD is, but she was too short at the time) so I never go on them....It's not fair to go to Disney and make everyone wait for just me to go on a ride! Well, we had eaten lunch back in that area and there was NO wait so I went. As soon as I got in the entrance, DH had called me that DS wanted to come too! I went out and got him....he loved the pre-show, but I could tell he was getting nervous as we could hear the tires screeching on the limos. We talked to a CM, who said that he would wait with DS while I rode if he wanted. He decided to ride, though! He got really excited as the music was playing at the beginning, and then I felt a death grip on my wrist!!!! We got off, and I asked him how he liked it. "I'm glad I went, I' really proud of myself." The line was still non-existent, so I asked him if he wanted to go again. "No thank you, Mommy." I was trying not to laugh, cause from the look on his face, he wanted to use slightly stronger words than that!

Now TOT, I haven't done and have no desire to try...I'm not big on heights.

I can't wait to read more, RigLee!!!

I found your trip report yesterday and got caught up today. I have loved your story so far. You have a wonderful style of writing. And good for you for going on ToT. We love that ride!

Oh, and I don't remember seeing one of your questions answered. CM, when referring to Disney World employees, means Cast Member.

Looking forward to your next installment. :wave2:

I have problems with motion sickness. Can't do anything that spins or flips upside down. ToT is one of the only thrill rides I can do. Its my only reason for doing HS.

Can't wait to read the next installment! Love your writing!

RigLee, What a fantasic story!
I'm from England and your story just sums up some English views of well mannered sexy coxboys...and your innocence is so sweet.
It took me the best part of Wednesday to read this entire thread....and I don't even care if it's true life or fictional, although i must admit- I would love to see a picture of you and your Rig :goodvibes

Keep on writting girl:worship:

I am terrified of heights but will take TOT anyday over the pink spinning demons!!!! :rotfl: Last time, DD rode them twice in a row and was making the thing spin so fast that the CM told her before going on the 2nd time to be careful not to puke!!! :lmao: What the CM didn't know is that she is a figure skater so she has the spinning thing down to a fine art! However, she can only spin the teacups in one direction (the way she spins in skating), when she spins them the other way, she gets dizzy!!! :rotfl:

Roller coasters, I love! But, mission mars... don't think there would be enough money in the world to get me to ride that!:rotfl2:

Did you meet any characters while at Disney? Or watch any parades? Just wondering because you haven't mentioned anything about it in your story.

Great update! I'm proud of you for riding ToT! The CMs can be so creepy.

Can't wait to find out what happens next!
