Today was a dark day. Got up early to go to Guest Relations to see if they could arrange an exchange. The manpurse that I thought was so cool ripped on one pocket, so I wanted to exchange it for another one. i had tried the night before in gift shops in Epcot and while they were quite willing to take it back, no one could exchange it. It started raining so I put my poncho on as I walked to GR in the Customs House. When I got there, the CM at guest relations was singularly unhelpful. First of all she told me I should not have gotten it wet. Some rain had hit it until I could get it under the poncho. I did not point out that it was pouring outside, which I was tempted to do. I asked her if there was any way to send it back to the store and have them send a new one back to the resort. She said that they did not have runners to do this sort of thing and that the runners they did have were very busy. I asked her if it was possible to have the runner from the Animal Kingdom take it back when he dropped of the purchases people staying at the resort made the day before and bring a new one back tomorrow with the purchases people made today. We do not do that kind of thing, she said. Then I asked her to confirm that Animal Kingdom opened early on Mondays, instead of doing that she started to backtrack and say that she could call their runner and see if he could do it today, at this point I said, that is not necessary, just answer my question please, she tried again but i asked her if AK had EE on Mondays and then she looked it up and said yes. I thanked her and went back to the room to drop the bag off. When I got back to the room, I found that some of the others were still there and so we went to breakfast at the food court together. The way this day turned out, I should have gone off on my own. One friend was in a particularly contrary mood and decided to run us hither and yon around the MK. If I had left when I had the chance, I might have been more patient later, but I didn't so I wasn't. We shopped a little on our way up Main Street and then on to the TTA because we found out Buzz Lightyear closed this morning for refurbishment. If we had known this we would have come to MK earlier because we all love this ride. 
And then we find out that COP is only open seasonally at Easter and in the summer<sigh> Oh well. After TTA we walked onto Space Mountain, then right onto Pooh and I think I got a picture of Mr. Toad handing Pooh the deed, then on to Snow White. Two of us went onto IaSW to see if our pins would go off, which they did!! Then we got fast passes for Peter Pan and went to ride CGC. I, as usual, took a picture of the horse I was going to ride and then off we went. Our pins flashed during this ride too! 
We still had half an hour until our PP fast passes so we went to Columbia Harbour house and had a great lunch. Some one walked up and asked me a question and as I started to answer the bossy jumps in with an answer. I said nothing. After lunch we walked onto PP with our fp. I was trying to find a phone to check the rooms to see if we could meet up with the other two friends who left earlier because I had managed to get a ps for CRT by walking up to the desk between rides. The bossy one kept moving. We rode HM and then did the HoP which was kind of disturbing. It always amazes me how lifelike the animatronics are in this presentation and to see George Sr nodding while George jr was talking kind of gave me the creeps!!!! After this we headed into Frontierland and while the bossy one was shooting at the shooting galeery I found a phone and hooked up with the others from our party who had also gotten ps for CRT but earlier than mine. We made a date for the SaD parade to meet at Exposition Hall and off we went. TMRR was next, another favorite of mine and while we were leaving that, someone came up to me and asked directions and mr bossy jumped right in and gave them directions. This really drives me nuts, I did not even get to start. When someone asks me a question, I prefer to at least have the chance to answer. Still I said nothing. We got onto the Train and rode it around to the front of the park and found the rest of the group there. We hung out and I got a bunch more character pictures but at about five minutes to three, they cancelled that parade because of the weather. It had been raining for most of the day so this wasn't a big surprise but it was disappointing. I did a run up to CC to cancel my ps and then rejoined the group. We rode PotC after catching the RTR show. Our buttons went of in pirates too. more shopping until time for our ps. We checked in and went into the waiting room and there was Cinderella sitting in her chair!! Many pictures ensued. We did not have to wait long until we were called and then up to the dining room. our waiter was Christopher and he was great. he was 6'8" tall, one of the ladies asked. I asked him if I could get a picture with him because noone would believe there was a waiter taller than I am and mr bossy says yes we need a picture of us to show our friends. I said nothing but everybody at the table looked at mr bossy because he does not like his picture taken. He either did not notice or pretended not to notice. Dinner was excellent. I had the kings cut steak and it was like buttah as they say. Even the desserts were good. We had saved room this time because we had appetizers last time and no room for dessert. We got a picture with the waiter and then it was time to go find a place to see Tinkerbells flight which one of the group had never seen. Two of us had had drinks that allowed us to have mugs to take home so the waiter handed me the receipt and told me to pick them up downstairs. mr bossy was standing there when I said I would pick them up and meet everybody on the bridge where we were going to watch the fireworks. Everyone was there but mr B. he showed up later. After the fireworks he said, I missed half the fireworks because I had to go back and get the mugs. The waiter said he gave me the reciept buyt he didn't so he had to make up a new one and I got the mugs. Then I held up the mugs and said, I already got them, he gave me the receipt and I said I was picking them up. Which apparently translated to me hollering at him. Then he says, what should we do, to which I replied, well, we should take two back because we did not pay for them. Which apparently translated to calling him a criminal. I did not find this out until later. He says well I am not going back in there, and started walking down main street, I will give them to Guest Relations at the front. i said, i will do it for you and he handed me the bag, which translated to me snatching the bag out of his hands and running off. See, I should have stayed by myself! He was very angry and when I asked him why he told me. Fortunately we were back in the room by this time and I said, I was only trying to help. If you took anything that I said as calling you a criminal which I didn't I am sorry. There was a mistake and i just wanted to help. Then he tells me, oh, now I understand your motive. that's fine, but i don't get over things. everything is not just going to be ok. I said, I see, well, I am going to go pick up my packages from the gift shop. I left the room and asked everyone else if they needed to have things picked up and doesn't he come out of the room and ask me to pick up a small package for him. Go figure. So i went to Old Port Royale, picked up the packages, sat in the food court and wrote in the journal while sipping a lemonade and then aleisurely walk back to the room to find a note on my bed that they have gone to DD. I just went to sleep. I came very close to telling him that I was not a child and was very tired of being treated like one, but then was not the time and I really believe you need to pick your battles. He does not ever like being alone and cannot understand anyone else being alone. And, I think he is insecure about himself and that is where the bossyness comes from. I figured that it is really not my problem and decided that I handled the situation well. I was trying to save him embarrassment over a simple mistake and if he did not want to see it that way, there wasn't much I could do. I slept very well.

Tell you what, next time you want to go to WDW, take me instead of Mr. Bossy...I promise to be Ms. Sunshine and Light!
