Now we’re ready to hop over Port Orleans, Riverside… I think this is a more saddle resort. It seems like it is more spread apart than the French Quarter. Dsis got a good vibe here than the latter but in my opinion I would do POFQ 1st before I do POR!
I cant remember if there was a fountain in the lobby… I don’t think so but they have this instead BTW am a big fan of fountains!!!
The Riverside Mill….
The inside of the Mill …
Boatwrigts Dining Hall…
After browsing the menu we did not see anything we like… so off we jump to OKW
And had gone straight to Olivia’s
Since we did not have an ADR we had to wait for maybe about 15-25 minutes which was fine since we got the chance to check out the resort…
The Castle Slide at the main Pool
Adjacent to the pool are these spitting dolphins
OK now we’re buzzing…. Off we go back to be seated…
We had the onion rings served with a variety of dips… honey mustard , Cajun style type a sauce and almost tartar sauce like… love the honey mustard with a kick! That’s the one on the right!
And this bread… I think it was sourdough.. freshly baked… with pineapple coconut butter it was to die for… and our CM was nice enough to ask if we want another one!!! Mama Mia!!!
Dsis had the crab crusted mahi-mahi with jasmine rice and asparagus… this was good but not as good as what I got! I had to share mine with her!!! Also the mahi-mahi had tasted better when she dipped it with the honey mustard sauce from the onion rings sauces!!!
And are you ready for what I ordered!!! It was delish to the 10th power!!! Really!!!
It is the Caribbean Barbeque Grouper - Served with mango bbq sauce, mashed sweet potatoes and tostones.
And of course my 1st souvie cup!!! Lighted Tinkerbell with fruit punch!!! And yes it was non-alcoholic!!!
After dinner we headed back to SSR to have a cup of coffee and call it a night… but it did not happened that way. Since the 19th will be a day solely dedicated for my bday which means we starts and ends the day at MK… we won’t have time to go back to DTD for one last time so off we jet and go!!!
