So I went from May 6-10th for my first solo trip and I am here to post my pro's and cons
PRO'S:'
1. I didn't have to plan around anyone else.
2. I did what I wanted when I wanted.
3. I ate when and where I wanted and at what time.
CON'S'
1. nobody to converse with in line (unless you want to talk to strangers, due to social distancing this was challenging)
2. having a dining companion (I didn't think I would miss this but did)
I did all 4 parks and Epcot twice. Most rides had very short wait times and some were pretty much walk on even though posted wait times said differently.
the longest wait I had was for MMRR which was super cute and worth the wait.
I could not get a boarding pass for ROTR
although I tried both at exactly 7am and 1pm on my HS day.
The heat and humidity made me realize I could never live in Florida...LOL
The pop up little parades were cute but I missed the real parades, the fireworks and the shows.
I don't know if I would go solo again and if I did it would definitely be in a cooler time of year.
The busses to the parks from Old Key West were pretty steady except my second Epcot day I did wait about 45 minutes for a return bus and this was around 4:30pm.
I rode the skyliner from HS to Epcot, it was okay, I would not go out of my way to do it again, I would either walk or take the boat
Crowds seemed low and I did see most people complying with the mask and social distancing guidelines. Now the drama at the airport coming home was a whole other story that got my flight delayed 3 hours because of a woman on the flight leaving our gate got into it with someone on that flight, it delayed that flight leaving and police had to be called, it was like something you see on the news. And let me just say thank God I have TSA pre check, I was through security in about 5 minutes in the standard line it would have been hours, the line was INSANELY long.
Overall I had a great trip, a nice break from reality. Would I go solo again? only under a set of perfect conditions and EVERYTHING would have to be back to normal 100%
