My first PTR..May 2011 anyone out there??

So I last left off at NO park.. So.. I have no idea what to do this day.. We are towards the end of our trip and we have reservations this night at Il Mulino at the Swan.. I am So excited for this dinner. The last time I was at the world my SIL and I really wanted to book here for dinner, but decided against it because it wasn't part of the DP..(So glad we never booked because as it was we had 1 dinner that we booked specifically for us adults and my In laws were going to watch the kids, MIL threw a nutty (something that happens often) and we ended up having to cancel).. Everything looks so good here and since I haven't made any other ressies over near the Epcot hotels I was thinking we could make a day of it.. Maybe start out at DTD, and head over to DQ and then some shopping.. and then a 7:30 ressie for Il Mulino.. My mouth is already watering thinking about it..

Ok so just to be crazy.. let's throw another day into my PTR.. I love living on the edge

Next Up.. our last day at the Parks.. MK.. Starting with a 10:15am ressie at Crystal Palace.. I am hoping to make it to Rope Drop on this day.. I think it would be great to get on the train and go around the park or even just walk down Main street when its not too crazy.. maybe if I am adventurous I will run to get FP's to TM, SM, BUZZ etc.. then.. Pirate League at 1:15pm.. I wasn't even thinking about this when I made the ressie but maybe I should have gotten the ressie for later in the afternoon and not in the middle of the the hottest part of the day.. Oh well, I guess we will see .. hmmmm.. I have no ressies for this night for dinner.. But I am thinking maybe adding something.. Just don't know where..

Ok PTR aside who else dreams of Disney? Not kidding, last night had the weirdest dream.. Had a girl I went to HS with (like 20 years ago) and for some reason I was talking to her and she said she had Boardwalk Villa (DVC member) and had me call and cancel my ressie for CSR... Hmm.. I woke up so mad because for some reason all my ADR's got cancelled and I couldn't eat anywhere but CS.. HAHAHA..

WOW.. Imagine what my dreams are going to be like closer to May? 5 months out and they are already weird..

Have you thought about making an ADR at one of the monorail resorts? You could just jump on the monorail from MK and eat there. We enjoyed dinner at 1900 Park Fare one trip, although, the characters are Cindy, Prince Charming, her Stepmother and evil stepsisters (who were fantastic btw!), but I'm not sure how your DS would feel about that one. Or what about the Plaza Restaurant in MK? We've never eaten there but I have read a ton of good review on it here on the DIS.

Have you thought about making an ADR at one of the monorail resorts? You could just jump on the monorail from MK and eat there. We enjoyed dinner at 1900 Park Fare one trip, although, the characters are Cindy, Prince Charming, her Stepmother and evil stepsisters (who were fantastic btw!), but I'm not sure how your DS would feel about that one. Or what about the Plaza Restaurant in MK? We've never eaten there but I have read a ton of good review on it here on the DIS.

we are eating at 1900 Park fare for breakfast later in the trip, that is my 1 chance to go to the Floridian.. We are also eating at Ohanas and at Chef Mickeys.. I was thinking California Grille, but after looking at the menu, I know that it wouldn't fit with what hubby likes.. my problem is all the food that I love is either at Epcot or in the Boardwalk area..

So hope everyone had a great Christmas.. We had a Wonderful One. Logan was a bit overwhelmed.. So many presents so many visits with loved ones.. He got so spoiled we had to put some stuff away our entire living room was COVERED with toys.. So I thought that I would just put a couple of pictures up from our holiday weekend.. and end it with the gift my sister in law got for me.. SO excited...

Gifts that he opened on Christmas Eve.. and the ones wrapped are what Santa brought santa, wrapped everything in his stocking too.. 2 hours to unwrap..

I know don't you love the wristlet? I was so surprised. Sister in law went over Thanksgiving and she had already given me the cutest Mickey shirt so i wasn't expecting anything at all.. I used it yesterday at the mall..

So, I know it has been such a busy month and I started with a bang getting all my info out and then sort of stopped..I have some time today so I figured that I would continue..
First off, I have decided that unfortunately this is NOT the year for me to run my first 5k.. I am still not healed 100% and I just don't want to push it as much as I really want to do it.. So, with that I have decided that I probably wouldn't want to eat dinner at yak and yeti right before the big race is to start.. So, I cancelled my ressies for yak and yeti and I ..... made ressies at JIKO..I have heard SO much about it.. and wanted to try it.. So, I made ressies the other day for 6:20pm on Sat. may 7th.. One thing that I noticed for all those of you reading who may still NOT know where you are eating.. There are TONS of open ressies. I was actually amazed.. Of course, I am still unsure if I am eating at all the places I want to eat at.. So, I have a feeling in the next day or 2 I will be adding something else.. HAHAHA

So as I am reading over what I have last written I realize.. NO WONDER WHY NO ONE IS READING THIS.. It's a cluster of words and no sense or reason to it.. and I think I havent been going in chronalogical order..
seriously.. anyway.. the last thing I left off was crystal palace on tues. may 9th. this is our last day at the parks (or so I think, but every time I look through my itinerary and see I have 4 days without parks, I keep thinking, maybe I should ADD some more days, argghhhh).. I don't have any ressies for this night.. But, I know tht I want to add something else.. But, I don't know if I should add something at MK (which as we all know doesn't have the best of the TS restaurants) or go back to Epcot, where there are SO many places that I still haven't tried.. BTW, that's what you guys are here for.. HELP ME.. LOL
Last full day at Wed. May 11th We have a 9:00am ressies at 1900 park Fare.. and NO idea what to do on this day.. But, I am re-thinking this ressie.. I made specifically because I have NEVER eaten at GF and it has been YEARS since I have even toured the property.. I figured with the way that Logan eats and even DH for that matter, it would be wasted on both of them to eat at Narcossis or Citricos.. But, this breakfast is at 9:00am and I thinking that maybe I just make a dinner ressie instead??? Any ideas???
Last but NOT least.. May 12.. departure day.. Already getting sad about this.. But.. I am lucky enough that our plane doesn't leave until 7:05pm.. So, I decided to end our trip with Chef Mickeys..YAY.. We havce a 9:10am ressie and then I thought we could just get bck to the CSR and pack up and get our suits on and then just hang out at the pool until its time to get our shuttle back to MCO.. A couple of questions:
If you haven't used all your dining credits, you can still use the ones you have left on your departure day?
If we decide that we want to take our own luggage on the bus rather than give it to ME can we do that, and if they allow that will be be able to leave a bit later than the 3 hours before hand???

So, I have made one decision.. and tht is to have matching outfits for most of the trip.. I have been perusing the Disboutique and have found so many cute things.. Has anyone gotten anything from these guys? I have NO creativity At all.. But, I have some great ideas.. I was thinking of making up a shirt.. that says.. what are you Celebrating??? and for everyone that says something about the shirt (I will have an extra one in my pack) I will ask them to sign it and write what they are celebrating.. I thought what an AWESOME keep sake.. What do you guys think???
NEXT UP.. Will I finally start my tour planning?????

We are doing breakfast at 1900 Park Fair on May 3, at DD8's request for her birthday. Mary Poppins is her absolute favorite, and Alice is her big sister's favorite, so it is perfect for us. I could post after breakfast and let you know how it is so you could cancel one reservation then if you want me too.

I don't have any ressies for this night.. But, I know tht I want to add something else.. But, I don't know if I should add something at MK (which as we all know doesn't have the best of the TS restaurants) or go back to Epcot, where there are SO many places that I still haven't tried.. BTW, that's what you guys are here for.. HELP ME.. LOL

As I am already eating at Il Mulino and paying OOP for that.. Hmmm.
I did want to do Flying Fish.. But, don't want to spend $200 for dinner or 2 dc..So many decisions.. Good thing I have 4 months.. LOL

I love the pictures at Christmas. And I really LOVE your gift. I got one of the purses for my Christmas gift from my boss adn his wife.

We've never done 1900 Park Fare (my DH won't step foot into the GF), but i have read better reviews for their breakfast than I have their dinner.

Ok.. So I told you guys I would constantly be changing my mind because of still having 4 months until we are on our to the World.. This is my question.. Would you, if you could for an extra say $700 upgrade to a Deluxe?

Not that I am second guessing my choice of resorts, I know that I am going to love staying at CSR.. but, when the idea first came about to do a trip, especially with the way our past couple of years have been and all the struggles that we have gone through, my dream was to stay at a deluxe.. But, when it came to number crunching, I just couldn't justify another $1200 just to stay at a deluxe.. But, now I am seeing the new 35% off code for the deluxe villas and if I am correct in doing the numbers it would only be about $700 extra.. I am asking what you guys would do??? Am I being crazy to think that I should even change at this point? All opinions are welcome.. arghh. I know.. im a crazy planning thinking wondering indecisive lover of Disney..

Well, I am a hotel snob so I say if you can go Deluxe and the extra $700 won't effect your trip budget then go deluxe! I did the same thing. Back in 07 I was booked at CBR but I found out about an awesome discount and so I had no choice but to switch to WL.

How is this for crazy... I just looked at my pin code brochure and saw that I have 40% off for Villas
I called Disney.. (but I haven't booked through Disney I have a TA at AAA) but the disney TA told me that my pin code is grandfatherd in.. So, my TA is looking into upgrading to a Villa.. OMG.. Please pray that its only about $700 difference, because this really will be my dream trip....

I'm in! First of all congrats on being Cancer Free! That is a great reason to celebrate along with your DH being back to work. Life is too short, and it is awesome you get to take your lil' guy back again.

I am also from MA ( 30 mins up 93 from Boston w/ no traffic LOL!) and will be there in May. I am planning on writing a pretrippie as well, and hope to learn alot from yours.
