So I have started walking, right, and I bought tennis shoes from Macys for the occasion, and wanted to break them in for Disney. Well they hurt, alot. So I decided to buy insoles and walked in them 2 times, remember that for the end of this little rant. That didn't help. Made it worse. So I bought another pair of shoes from Payless and decided to return the original pair. I cleaned em up, found the box, and took em back to Macys. I didn't have the receipt but I had the customer return label on the box (remember to keep those puppies just in case). I had the shoes for almost 3 months but only started using them about 3 weeks ago.
Well Macys was great, sales guy was helpful. Easy return. I decided to walk around shoes and found that Clarks makes tennis shoes. I have black Clarks sandals and love them so much. So I decided to try out the tennis shoes. Well holy moly are they comfy. So I decided to splurge (only paid $36 w/my Macy's card discount and the sale Macy's was already having on them) on good shoes again and bought em. Wow just wow soft and light.

I took the Payless shoes back with no problem.
Returning the insoles were the problem. I took them back to Finish Line. The girl asked me point blank if I had worn them. I said yes 2 times but they didn't work and actually made the shoes worse. Well ma'am (in a snide condescending tone) our policy is to only take back unworn items. Well ma'am (she is about 12 years my junior, btw) how was I supposed to know if they would work without wearing them??? That is our policy sorry. You can exchange them for another pair. Why do I want to exchange them for another pair that is just dumb. Well that is our policy.
By this point I was heated.

I was hungry and I didn't come looking for a fight. But I also know the girl was just doing her job and following the policy. Although her attitude was uncalled for, I didn't want to cause a scene.
I had bought the insoles 4 days before this and had a receipt. It wasn't like I had them for 29 days and worn them to the point of breaking down. So I said to her that if she would be willing to give me store credit I would buy something else. She accepted my offer. So I bought a UCF t-shirt (I am alumni and we can never find UCF shirts over in my area only Orlando).
After my transactions were done I told her that I thought the company policies were unreasonable and because of this the company just lost a potential future customer. I would be taking my business elsewhere. She shrugged and rolled her eyes. I should have lied and said I had not worn them?? (BTW, I wanted to slap the snide right out of her, but I didn't.)
Well I went into Dillards to wander and went to the shoe section, like I always do. You NEVER know what deals are around. I found a cute pair of bronzey beige pewter flip flops and bought em. I am a Clarks convert!!!!

I found a cute white eyelet skirt to wear to dinner for Cape May. There was a stain on it but I figured it was white and they make bleach pens, so why not. I bought it. I THOUGHT bleach could get out anything, but apparently not. I have no idea what that stain is but it is not coming out. I did two rounds of bleach, not budging. So 10 bucks wasted. At least it was on clearance and not full price. Dang it was soooo cute too. BLARG!!!!
Why does bra shopping suck so hard?? Maybe I am being unreasonable in thinking I could find a comfortable black wireless bra in my size that does not look old lady. I found a beige one, no problem from Playtex, but no black
Oh well...... Off to go finish the laundry!!!!
