My Final DVC Resale Timeline

I can't believe that I am finally typing this post. Waiting and waiting and waiting is torture. This was my first resale purchase and boy did I underestimate the waiting involved! This board is amazing and helps make the process a tad easier. Thank you everyone for your support and for sharing your knowledge.

1/21 Contract sent for ROFR
2/16 Passed ROFR
3/12 Closing docs Rec'd
3/16 Closing docs & funds rec'd by title co.
3/18 Deed Recorded
3/30 Rec'd Member # and made first reservation!

I made it in before the 7 month window opened by the skin of my teeth! I am overjoyed and will cross my fingers for everyone who is waiting.

congratulations! did you wait to get your member info and online access info in the mail or did you call for it? and if you waited for it to be mailed, how long did it take? just curious as my deed was recorded on 3/23 (this was my first DVC contract and it was via resale) and I am wondering if I should just wait to get the info in the mail or start calling member services soon. I too am looking to book my first vacation (nov 7-14) before the seven month window opens next week.

I started calling 7 days after the deed was recorded on the Comptroller website. I haven't received anything in the mail yet, and I didn't want to risk waiting due to the popularity of my travel dates.

November 6-16 at AKV Kidani, 1br villa the first night and 2br villa the rest of the nights. The 2br wasn't available our first night, but thats ok I am just elated that we got all of the nights.
