it happens to be right here in Portland, Maine at the Portland jetport.....it is the cleanest bathroom I have ever seen.....and believe you me.....as my darling hubby says.....I know where all the ladies facilities are in Disney......so anyways......they have the neatest thing....Maine happened to be one of the first airports to get this device.....you wave your hand over the green dot and the toilet seat cover becomes movable and a new one covers the seat.......now Isn't modern technology just the best.......I remember when the first time it moved and I was wondering what the heck is this all about....then read the instructions.....also can you imagine the technology of the person who invented the flushables when you are still in it....just remarkable.........

how does it move? where the heck does the old one go????

The rest areas in Missouri (at least some of them) have a new device for their sinks. They're built into the wall and you stick your hands in, it dispenses soap then, runs the water, then turns on the blower---all automatically. I HATE IT!!!!! It doesn't give you enough time to thoroughly wash and rinse your hands. Then you have to wait until the blower stops so you can finish rinsing. It's really quite a pain. And all this automatic stuff--flushing, faucets, hand dryers---is really obsolete when you have to OPEN THE BATHROOM DOOR with your "clean" hands. Give me an automatic bathroom door any day over toilets, faucets and dryers.

that the old one goes inside the back area of the toilet......and it comes off and the new one comes out of the other side.......it is truly a vision ......I know I hate the flush thingie too

Oh! I've seen those...and I'm always suspicious that it's actually the SAME wrap just going around and around.

I always cover.;)

I used one of the pay toilets in Boston once. It's a self cleaning thing. It even plays muzak while you use it. And everything cleans it self. It's interesting.

They have those in Japan too. When it gets to the back area, there's supposedly a lysol like spray that sprays the seat clean.

Another restroom in Boston, in Fanueil Hall. Marble walls and counters, solid oak stall doors; it's like something you expect in a nice hotel.

I agree. Why is it that when you're entering the bathroom, you PUSH the door and when you're coming out with hopefully freshly washed hands you have to PULL the handle. Shouldn't it be the other way around:confused: It would be much better if you could just lean into the door without having to touch it with nice, clean hands::yes::
