My Favorite Author Exchange - Sent/Received

I'm probably about a third of the way through the book Kirby sent me. I'd be further along if I wasn't so tired this week...falling asleep on the train. This rain has got to stop. It's wearing me out.

OK, I received my exchange today its from Gymbomom!

_Echoes --Danielle Steel--

Also a to go bag of reeses, Hot cocoa, and popcorn bag, mmmmm!

Thank you Gymbomom, I can't wait to read it.

Wow Gymbomom, this is weird, because I *almost* sent you Danielle Steele's Johnny Angel instead of The Notebook!! I LOVE DS and Johnny Angel was such a great read! It goes by so quick because of the size of the book, but still it was wonderful! Have you read it?

:)

It looks good! Thank you.
I'll let you know.

Anotehr DS fan here :)
But, I admit, I am a bit behind. :(
I like her older, more historic ones. Haven't read too many newer ones.
So Johnny Angel is a good one? I'll need to pick that one up.
(The Clone and I threw me off....terrible book :( ).

I have a bunch of Danielle Steele books. Haven't read Johnny Angel yet. There was another that came out around the same time as The Clone and I that I really liked...and can't remember the name of it. It's set during WWII and part of the story involves the Japenese camps. I'll have to find it again.

I think I read that one. It was set in CA, right?

Last night when I got home from work/dinner there was a package from Barnes & Noble on my front porch. I walked in the house with it...trying to figure out what I had ordered and forgotten about. Well, it was my package from Renee (no DIS name included). Renee sent me Amy Tan's "The Bonesetter's Daughter" and a beautiful journal with a Japanese Flower Cart design. I have not read any books by Amy Tan. I confess that I read mysteries most of the time...I have joined a book club so that I make myself read some other types of books.

Thank you very much...I'm going to start the book this weekend, which if I know me I will finish the book this weekend.

No I haven't read that one.... I am going to the used bookstore tomorrow to hunt some of the titles I haven't read yet.

My favorite is....I can't think of the name, but it is about the family that was on the Titanic. I think I bawl my eyes out every time I read that one.

Does anyone read Oprah's Bookclub selections? I have only read a few. Has anyone read her current one, A Million Little Pieces? I haven't heard much about it.

Well, like I said, it is a QUICK read! I read it in a few hours, seriously. Small book, but very good, I thought! My favorite DS is Accident! I love that book! :)

Yes. I liked that one because it wasn't so typical. I did also enjoy the Titanic one that someone else mentioned. I really haven't read any DS in a while...but I'd bet that my sister probably has a few waiting to be mailed out to me. Hope she sends some books soon.
