My Favorite Author Exchange - Sent/Received

For all those of you who received Nicholas Sparks books...have the tissues handy!! He is my absolute favorite author. The Notebook is his first solo novel. I think I've read it 5 times. I also own everything else he's written and buy them as soon as they come out. In fact, he's got a new one being released soon (might be today), and I pre-ordered it from Amazon two weeks ago.

He also co-wrote Three Weeks with My Brother with his brother Micah. It's about a three week trip-of-a-lifetime that they took together a few years ago. And it really tells a lot about their lives growing up. I loved that one too. All of his stories are loosely based on his family and after reading it, I had to go back and re-read his books again.

I hope you enjoy reading his books as much as I do!!

Chronicles of Narnia - with as much as I have read over the years, I have never read these. But have been wanting to.

Enjoyed Inkheart, didn't know it had a sequel. My daughter will be so excited!

James Herriott - I love reading his stories. I have his "The Best of....". I'll have to read it again sometime soon.

Hey that's no problem. The book is wonderful. You did a great job for your first exchange. Now if you sent a battered, dog eared copy of The poky little puppy. (Good book, but not really a long read) I would have been a little upset.

I'm so glad! I hope you like it. I'm reading the sequel, Inkspell, right now and it's wonderful. Isn't the cover gorgeous?

I have to apologize, though. This is my first exchange and I didn't realize how many people put so much thought into their packages. I wish I would have done more for you.
