My Favorite Author Exchange - Sent/Received

I received my exchange today!! Michelle (bigsis1970) sent me James Patterson's The Lake House!! I am excited because I have never read his work, but have wanted to for the longest time!! She also sent me some really cute Tink stickers, a notebook, Sleeping Beauty pencil and a postcard!!

I cannot believe what I just opened. DisneyFanz04 this was way too much. My daughter is soooo jeolose. Actually, I am a little teary eyed.

I got 2 books, both by Nicholas Sparks. Yeah, a new author. I can't wait to start reading them.
I also got a Minnie squeshy (spelling) pillow. It is sooooo soft and cuddly. My DD 5 had to tell me what they were called, I had never seen one before.

I have Princess purple cocoa to drink in my XX-Large Eyore coffee mug while writing in my notepad with a new pen by the light of my new candle.

Your hubby did a fine job on the shipping. I really am stunned by the generosity.

Tricia sent me The Notebook by Nicholaas Sparks. I have never read this one, but LOVED the movie, so I am sure I will LOVE the book!!
And, she sent it in hardback, so it will make a nice addition to my bookshelf.

ALSO, she sent tons of goodies....

a New England Patriots football sticker....my hubby the HUGE Cowboy fan got a big kick out of this. LOL

A very cute USA Ty Beanie, along with a set of 5 collectible pins.

A Halloween goodie bad filled with Halloween candy and some cute trinkets for the kids. The had claimed them, then got much joy out of Tricia's note, that they were for them.

A Yankee Candle votive holder shaped in a wheelbarrow with apples, very Fall.
The a Home Sweet Home votive....LOVE IT!!! I have a new favorite scent. I am burning it right now!!

I LOVE those stories!! I was just talking about getting them. We used to have them, but one of the kids kidnapped them I was going to go get them back before the movie came out....and now I don't have to

I also received "The Lord God Made Them All" by James Herriot. I have not read his books, but DH has about 5-6 of them (not this one). I did watch the TV series though
Looking forward to trying one out.

And....to further my education....Autobiography of Thomas Jefferson.

I couldn't decide. I read too many genres and have too many favorites.

I love the chronicles, but was afraid they would be too "childish".
Loved the Herriot series but was afraid you had read it.
The TJ autobiography is one I re-read regularly so I hope you enjoy it. I guess what you got sums up who I am, a mixed up geek.

I hope you enjoy them. I am ordering the Naria for myself. I have the paperback series but that just looks beautiful.

I got a free book on the way to work today. How lucky am I? I had just gotten off the train and was walking through the train station. I stepped outside and there were some people handing out free books. We often get free stuff outside the station, but it's usually something small. Never a book.

This is The Guards by Ken Bruen. Never heard of him, but hey, I'll read just about anything.
