My Fall, 2014 Dapper Day Trip Report... first trip as a couple without the kids.

OH NO!!! I totally forgot to get a Dole Whip bowl!!! I even had a Dole Whip and watched the show! I think my brain was fried and not thinking right with all the heat. I sure hope they still have them when I go back for Dapper Day next spring!

Well, I'm sad this report is over, but glad you're going back in 3 weeks!!! Be sure to post more pics so I can get my Disney fix!! Thank you for taking the time to post this trip report, and again...it was so fun meeting you and Amy!! Hope we can do it again some time.

It was great meeting you too. Let me know when you are planning to be in the parks again because I get to Cali for business once or twice a month, and a DLR trip even if just for a day is always an option.


Chances are the entire family will be there in Feb/March for the upcoming dapper day. I'm holding off on booking the room right now because I don't know the config or how many days though.

I got the wife this too... its super soft, long sleeve t-shirt. We LOVE the grand. One of their bathrobes is on the list one of these days.

Just booked Napa Rose Chef's Counter for the 22nd too.... Can't wait.

Ahhh...that's so sweet of you, whoever! I have some friends going next month and DizMe is going again in Dec. Maybe I can talk one of them into bringing one home for me.

My next "planned" trip isn't until Feb/Mar for Dapper Day, but who knows...I have a premium AP so any time someone say "You wanna go?" I'll be there!

I found some vintage Disneyland Hotel bedspread fabric which was new and uncut, and she made it herself. Used the same fabric for the back of my vest too.

No gingerbread smell on our HM ride either. I really missed that. It's always one of my favorite parts of the ride.

We rode HM 4 times on 9/15 and 4 times on 9/19 all with no gingerbread smell. Then we rode it 3 times on 9/21 with lots of gingerbread smell. So I'm guessing it just took them a while to get that working for some reason.

That was my thought, as well. Of course, we'd never ridden HMH so we didn't realize anything was missing until we suddenly smelled gingerbread on our last day!
