My "experience" with MS today

FWIW, it ALWAYS been Disney policy to use first names. Even the bottom people on the totem pole would/will call any executive by his/her first name. It's part of the culture.


I'm sorry..I disagree...yes..among themselves...but not for guests. I hope a Cast member or former CM would weigh in on this. It is just not polite to call a person by the first name unless you ask them first. And that has happened to me several times before with MS.

I diasgree with you David, I think it's your issue specifically. Did you ever ask them not to call you by your first name?

Treating them as subservient like you're the Lord of the Manor is likely counter productive to trying to get much of anything accomplished.
