My EM left Disney...anyone else have this problem?

Does anyone else have Tim Blunk? I just happen to call Tim today and his assistant Gina answered. I just came back from my planning session with Tim 3 weeks ago. I have sent several emails with questions but no responses. So I finally called today and Gina told me he left the company. We are suppose to get assigned a new EM in a few weeks. This is just my luck, I just hope they follow through with everything I have already discussed with Tim.

Gina told me its a new girl we are getting and she is in training.

Did this happen to anyone else?

He was my planner. I was told less then 2 weeks before my wedding. They assigned me to another planner. I didn't meet her till the night before my wedding and I only talked to her on the phone once before my wedding. My wedding went great. I only had a few little problems. To tell you the truth I wish I had my new planner the whole time. I now feel that Tim may have had other things on his mind then my weddings.

We were assigned a new planner after our planning session as well. When I got my new planner, he set up a mini planning session conference call with me to make sure he had all the details correct and just to chat. I am sure your new planner will be able to get up to speed on your wedding quickly, just be prepared that you may have to answer some questions again.

I think it will be fine. We got assigned a new planner early in the process as well. I think setting up a time to go over your previous discussions that you had with Tim will help. Make sure that you get all of you emails together so that you don't forget the small details. Also, this person may have some great new ideas for you and your event. It really is a great time to let your imagination flow!!

I got a new planner just over 2 1/2 months prior to my wedding. It could not have been more awesome, and I just adored my planner (Ken Weaver).
