Wow, you look stunning and I love the sash.

SRUAlmn - I have done exactly the same, hoping to cut down on the price of alterations, except I ordered my dress 2 sizes smaller I'm kinda worried now, although I am losing weight, I wish I was losing it quicker. I have no idea when I should put in for my final fitting. I've lost 2 inches from my waist, 2 from my ribcage and 1 from my hips since I tried on my dress and it's the ribcage I need to lose from as my dress is a corset and that is the bit that is too small. Still I keep persevering.....

But I digress, I love the train, I have a long train on mine too, but I am keeping it also, in fact it is one of the things I love about the dress the most. As you said when else could you wear a train? You have made a beautiful choice!

You look soooo pretty! I love the sash! Was this just when your dress came in, or was this an actual fitting? I'm trying to figure out how far in advance to set up a 'final' fitting. Congrats on finding your PERFECT pretty princess dress!!!



I'm trying to beat the whole alteration system with mine and I ordered it one size smaller than what fit me when I tried it on. Since I'm losing weight, I figured it was a 'safe' bet and then maybe I won't have to pay for alterations. Here's hoping! haha If not, she said they can adjust it 2 sizes in either direction

Karen, this was just the first time I tried on my dress. I haven't had a fitting yet. They told me to do the first fitting 6-8 weeks out. So, I'm doing it 7 weeks out and hopefully I won't need a second fitting I really don't know though!

Congrats on still losing so much weight, that's awesome I'm so happy for you I'm sure the dress you ordered will be way too big! When does it come in?

I actually already have my dress, but I guess I should make my appointment to have a fitting. Thanks for the timeline. I guess I'll aim for the middle-end of May.
