My Dream has come true

Since I was old enough to drive I have always wanted a Beetle I just love them and have never been able to have one due to diffrent factors any way yesterday my dream came true I bought a Beetle I am so excited not sure my DH is though as he had to px our maszda RX8 so he has a sad face at the moment but I am sure he will get over it he had his boy toy for threee years and now it is my turn rool on saturday so I can collect it .

How funny, have just had to sell my beetle due to our expanding family, and sold it on Saturday, it will be going next Saturday. I have to admit to being a little sad as it is my pride and joy, but am obviously happy for the reason to it going. Enjoy your beetle!

My mum had a beetle in the 70s. She managed to drive the whole of my Guide patrol (6 of us) and all our equipment (including tent) to camp at a farm a few miles away from home. I think we had to tie the bonnet/boot? down with rope as it wouldn't close properly. Not one of us had a seat belt - my goodness I wouldn't even think of doing something like that nowadays.
