My dog is weird!

My dog Max absolutely hates Wheel of Fortune. I don't know if it's the sound of the wheel spinning or the sound of the letters when they light up, but he goes absolutely beserk when that show is on. It's gotten so bad that now he recognizes the intro music, and starts barking as soon it comes on. We've had to give demonstrations to family members that don't believe us.

These are so funny! I especially like the dog who chases planes and the bird who doesn't like purple.

I was reminded of a few more of our quirky animals who have owned us over the years. My mom had a duck that she got as a baby. It grew up with the dog so naturally thought it was a dog too. When the dog ran up and down the fence barking, the duck ran up and down the fence quacking.

We had another Sheltie before Tia. One day I walked into the living room. Candy was standing with her back feet on the couch, her front feet on the coffee table, and her head stuck all of the way in a bag of Tostitos. When she heard me, she pulled her head out and looked out at me, chip still in her mouth. She had also helped herself to the guacamole. Who knew dogs likes chips and guacamole?

I had one horse who liked popcorn and another who liked oranges. She ate the rind and all.

We also had a parakeet when I was little. He could tell you that his name was"Chico Jose Don Juan Diablo." When my dad would get home from work he would make a drink and pour some whisky into a jigger. Every time Chico would have to dip his beak in the whiskey, then shake his head. He would also stand on your shoulder and kick your ear. He soon learned to walk around on the ground saying "Don't you kick me." He was such a neat little bird.

I have a dalmation who loves to eat the butter off the counter when he is at Grandmas. Never any where else.
