I got my costume in the mail today!!

I couldn't wait to get home to try it on and I LOVE it! Now all I need are the earrings and mickey ears to match!

Now, I am finally off to make that Daughter tee for the kttkt!

Hi Everyone! I know I haven't updated but I've been busy getting everything together for the big trip! I've decided to check a bag at the airport- I usually just do the carry on but there's no way I can pack for a week in just a carry on.

Also, I finally made my tshirt for the KTTKT! I forgot to take pics of the shirts before packing them away so here are the DISigns that I got from DISer ~*~Michelle~*~ on the Creative DISign threads!

I know you can't see it, I'm really happy with the way they turned out!

I've actually already finished packing! (except for few toiletries and shoes.) I know it sounds kinda crazy to go ahead and pack, but I actually have a legitimate excuse for doing so. I have three day weekends, but am usually stuck working 12-13 hour days the rest of the week. Oh well, I will make up for sucky work hours next week!


Lastly, I've received a few private messages from my readers asking about the handsome stranger and I.... I wish I had better news but the truth of the matter is that we never talk. He never calls, but once and a while he'll see me on yahoo im and speak. He claimed that I never call him and that he'd like for me to... but then when I actually do call, he doesn't call back. He's supposed to meet us at the Blue Man Group next week- but I don't even know if that's still happening. Truthfully, I feel like a ginormous fool and am a little sad. But what can you do about it? It's a shame because I really liked him .... adored him really. Now, all I can do is simply move on... and instead of finding a tweener, I'll just use my fun time at wdw to get over him instead
I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

I think Karen's thinking of going either as Minnie, or as herself (no costume). She's not quite as into Disney as I am, apparently, but she's being a good sport about doing all the Disney things that I want to do this trip

I have been looking and looking to find out who did that DISign! I want so badly to give them credit for it, but I can't find it anywhere! If anyone knows who came up with the MNSSHP DISign (the one right above this post) please let me know so that I can give them a shout-out!


I leave in 2 1/2 days!!!

My bags are packed, I've already been to the bank, nothing to do except work really long hours until Friday evening- then I can leave ATL behind!

What did I do to deserve this karmic punishment???????

I've NEVER had a cold sore a day in my life- I'm 32 years old and I've intentionally never kissed anyone I've ever believed to have been infected- why now??? On top of this, I've got an ingrown toe nail! I know that might be a little TMI, but good gracious! I knew things were going a little too smoothly...

and did I mention that my cell phone died a couple of days ago??? Att sent me a "refurbished" one at no-cost... but it was defective. So now I'm phone-less (I know it isn't a word,) and I'm hoping the phone that I should receive by tomorrow, will actually work!

You're right, I shouldn't compain and whine I am able to walk around Disney- there are many people who will never see it in all it's glory... or who are maybe there for a Wish trip... I'm very lucky and will cease whining about my toe and cold-sore. Instead, I'll just complain that the stupid cold sore medicine was $20

Hugs! that is very true Reb! We all are for many different reasons and I feel truly blessed to be going to meet up with my friends! And yes, 20 bucks is a lot for meds, but... (will let you have your venting time LOL)
