My Disneyland dining reviews, with pictures

I had this today and I thought I posted it, but I guess I didn't. How did you like it? I enjoyed it quite a bit.
I liked it a lot. Granted, it was sweltering and we found a seat in the shade with a breeze, so that helped. 😰

Flavor wise, the two of us who ordered it liked combo of flavors. The ube dusting added a nice touch and the passionate fruit coconut syrup was flavorful but not overwhelming. When I finished, I had extra syrup that was too sweet for me to drink alone. My friend, on the other hand, grabbed a straw and slurped it up. :drinking1

Disneyland Hotel room service breakfast: whipped yogurt parfait and coffee. I get a version of this when I stay at the Grand. I expected it to be the same and while the overall ingredients are the same, the Grand serves a larger portion and automatically brings ice water and in addition to cream, a full glass of milk in case I want milk for my coffee.

Question about the filet mignon at Napa Rose. Are they likely to accommodate if you wanted your steak plain? No spices or sauces, essentially just s&p?

Overall, how good is Napa rose at alteration/special requests?
It’s been many years since I’ve been there but they accommodated a dairy free chefs table menu for me twice. I’m sure it’ll be fine.

DLH has room service? And with real dishes?? Awesome! How did I miss that? I just really love room service. Is it only breakfast?

They have a room service menu for all day/meals. I used the door hanger to order breakfast. The door hanger just has breakfast options and if you put it on the door in the hallway by midnight, your food comes in the morning in a 30 minute window that you select.

Lamplight Lounge Boardwalk Dining (upstairs, walk up)

Muenster's Inc Sliders (seasonal) - Smashed Burger Patties, Muenster Cheese, Anaheim Chile, House Chipotle Sauce, Candied Bacon, House Pickles and Crispy Onions on a Peppered Brioche Bun, served with House Kettle Chips

Note, there was no mention of the seasonal items on the menu. This was very good tasting. The meat was better quality than most burgers in the parks. It had a double patty plus a thick cut of bacon, so was quite filling. Unfortunately, the buns were stale. The kettle chips had hot honey on them and were amazing! Maybe a bit overpriced at $24.

How were the nachos??

I’m sad you didn’t like the garlic bread brat! I was look Forward to trying it!
I watched a youtuber who gives really honest reviews, and he loved it. It sure looked good while he was eating it! Lol we are definately trying it but will split one, its really big!

We will still get it and split it too! I’m not sure I can even eat half of it!

It is an extremely popular item. I wouldn't make a decision based off of one person's opinion.

Don't worry, @LKing, I'm also an outlier when it comes to the garlic cheesy pretzel bread. It sounds like it would be everything I love, and I liked PARTS of it. But the spread down deep is made with a garlic aioli and I absolutely hate aioli and mayo-based anything, so as soon as I hit that part, I was OUT. If it was pure cheese and garlic (or even a garlic cream cheese), I'm sure I would be a big fan.

Thanks. That must be what I don't like either. I had the regular one a year ago and didn't understand the cult following. To each is own.

Craftsman Bar at the Grand Californian

Waygu Burger and fries - I had the burger swapped out for an impossible patty. This was legit one of the best burgers/meals I have ever had at Disneyland. The pickle chips were amazing and there were pickled onions on the burger. It was insanely delicious and I believe I would have also enjoyed it with the beef patty. The fries were super thin and almost chip like. It's worth leaving the park for this burger.
Your burger review has been on my mind. Normally I go with a group of people. We order a few items and split them. Today I went by myself and decided to give the burger a try. I ate at Craftsman Grill, not the bar.

Wagyu Gouda Burger - American Wagyu Patty, Gouda, Grilled Red Onion, Lettuce, Tomato, and Preserved Lemon Aïoli on a Brioche Bun served with Seasonal Fruit or Seasoned Fries Plant-based Patty available upon request

At first I was a little hesitant because it is $24. That's pretty pricey for a burger. It was plated well, but didn't look like $24. Then I bit into it. WOW, that's a great burger! I think it must be the lemon aioli paired with the grilled onion and pickles. It was surprisingly good. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the recommendation!

I went to Craftsman Grill because I had seen pictures of the Mickey Ghost Cupcake. I couldn't find a description of it anywhere. It is a chocolate cupcake filled with a chocolate ganache. It is topped with vanilla buttercream, white fondant and chocolate ears. It was very sweet and very rich.
