Can someone who has done this give me your opinion of it? My DD5 and I will be in WDW for 3 1/2 days in February and I thought this would be fun, especially sine I will only have one of my kids there.

We did this in 2007 and it was so special! All of the little girls dress up in their princess outfits and have a ball! The character interaction is fantastic too. Every girl even gets their own doll! It was really fun, some great activities for the children! Any questions, let me know!

it is awesome! Me and DD6 just did it January 1. Very nice. Your DD will get a doll. If you plan on dressing her up as a princess, I would suggest not wearing a crown there. Rose petal greets each girl with one and puts roses on their heads. It is sweet. Then you sit down and are served tea (apple juice for the little ones) out of tea pots. Little sandwiches and fruit. Rose Petal tells stories and sings. Aurora makes her way out and she comes around to each table for pictures and autographs. You also get a birth certificate for your doll and scrapbook pages.

They also will take a photopass picture at the end of your DD. It really was fun for us. My DD loved it.

I think out of the 17 that were there, 3 or 4 were not dressed up. It didn't matter though, they were all made to feel very special.

We surprised my mom & DD with this on our 2005 trip and they both loved it! The doll from the tea is still DD's favorite, and she still talks about the tea party from time to time even though, at 7, she's beginning to outgrow the Princess stage. She's really looking forward to taking her little sister to it in a few years. It is expensive but money well spent IMO.

It is located at the Grand Floridian. I think the cost for my DD and me was about $225? It was pricey, but I thought worth it.

I was going to do this for trip but I was really disappointed in the menu. First of all my daughter will be 7 but she loves tea and would be upset at getting apple juice at a "tea." I think I will just buy her a doll and have a tea in our hotel room. :) Way cheaper and better food. We're going to CRT and Akershus so she will get princess interaction anyway.

You could also do the Gardenview Tea which runs from 2-4pm at the GF for something different. If she likes tea and doesn't necessarily need or want the doll, this would be something special for her. (And a lot cheaper...)

She would be able to get Tea instead of Apple Juice. There was a girl about 8 from England that sat next to us and she requested tea and was brought her own pot. I wouldn't go there if you are looking for great food. As with many things with Disney, it's much more about the experience than the food. However the cake they served was excellant!

I hadn't thought of that but yeah, that's a great suggestion thanks!

I know it's about the experience, but I've got a miniature foodie on my hands LOL!

Thank you also for the tip about her requesting tea, that's very good to know :)

In the description of this activity it says one adult and one child for the $225. Does anyone know if my 16 year old would be able to take her little sister to this? She would really like to take her little sister, and I trust her completely to take her sis, just not sure if they check room cards or something and it HAS to be an adult that takes her? Anyone?
