Does anyone have this scheduled? DW and DD are scheduled for it, but I'm trying to find out more info on it.

My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party is a dream come true for your little princess. This one and a half-hour experience (from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) treats each little girl like royalty from start to finish and is like no other event around.

In this delightfully magical morning, young ladies aged 4-12 will experience a real Princess Tea Party at the Garden View Tea Lounge at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. This five-part party is led by a professional actress/singer, named Miss Rose Petal, and culminates in a "dream come true" experience with a personal meeting with Princess Aurora, Disney's Sleeping Beauty. The Princess Tea also includes tea and brunch for two, a Princess dream dessert for all guests, a My Disney Girl doll, elegantly dressed in her Sleeping Beauty's gown, to keep and play with forever, a princess bracelet, special "gift" for our adult guests, and a very own "Best Friend" certificate so our little Princesses can name their My Disney Girl doll as their best friend for life.

At $200 for the two of them we thought it was kinda steep, but nice for DW and DD to enjoy that time together.

I just miss this. My DD would love to do this, but we arrive 11/10. I just read in my All Ears newsletter that it sold out. I was leary about paying the 200, but my mother (who spoils my girls rotten) said if they extend it, she'll pay.

Once in a lifetime I guess.

Come over to the resorts brd. There's a large thread about this. Over 40 posts last time I looked. It's titled something like new children's event.

Sounds wonderful! I hope they still have it for our next trip next fall.

Kimberle - thanks for the heads up. I went over there and checked it out.

My DD and I will be there Saturday, October 25. When I called to book it all they told me (other than what you already know) was to arrive early, dress up, and bring a camera. I had also heard that it was sold out, but I took a chance and called anyway and was able to book it, so if anyone's thinking about it, it can't hurt to try!

I just have to say that my DH is THE BEST!!! Our family had plans to go to DW Oct. 4-9 (our Fall break). When I found out about the Tea Party I printed out the info and showed it to him. I really wanted to go, since my DD loves everything princess and this will be her last chance to go, since she's turning 13 in December. Of course he said, "No way!" I knew it wasn't practical to go back only 2 weeks after we got home, so I basically forgot about it. Then a couple of weeks later he came up to me and said, "I agree." I said, "You agree to what?" and he handed me the paper I had printed out. I couldn't believe it! He realized how important it was to me and decided to give me the trip as an early Christmas present! That's when I got online and saw that it was sold out! I called anyway and was able to book it, then got airline tickets and ressies at ASMo. We're flying down Friday night and home Sunday night, so it's a quick trip, but I'm so excited! And I haven't told my DD that we're going, so she will be really surprised and happy! So, THANK YOU, Rodney - you're the best!!!
