Is there a thread that discusses all the ins and outs of using mde? I'm trying to understand how it works when two families go together and want to see each others fp but don't want to give control for changing them. Is that possible?

The only way is:
Invite the Family to link to your MDX
Book FPs for the group
Delete each member of that Family from your MDX
All they see is their FPs and can only mess up their own

If you do the above, you will not be able to make any day of fastpasses for the group because none of you will be linked anymore.
