The one where you could use a FP on a band where the ticket on said band had not been used to gain access to the park. Therefore you'd get 6 FPs.

Now, if you use a band for a FP that has not been used to get in the park, they block the account, and you have go to guest relations for a telling off/unlock it.

to put it simply
the FP+ system used to be disconnected from the ticketing system. Meaning that guests were able to get FP+ on the day, by using expired tickets or Magic Bands connected to ghost accounts.

Disney is closing the loophole by checking that FP+ can only be used if a ticket has been activated and used for entry.

I can't see it being a huge difference.

Allegedly it's mostly AP holders and CMs that did it. Considering the majority of visitors are vacationers I don't think it'll improve much!

you're probably right...but still it's nice to be hopeful that it might..
and perhaps the fact that disney is going to this effort means that they were seeing an impact...

FP is up...so hopefully it will work fine when the window opens in 10 minutes
