My Disney Direct Disaster!

I recently ordered a personalized sweatshirt for DD through Disney Direct. The first shirt received was HEAVILY creased and pleated, I believe from the way the design was pressed on. I sent it back (they sent me a prepaid shipping label). The replacement sweatshirt I received yesterday and unfortunately it is even worse than the first. These creases and folds will not come out with an iron or through the wash. (I don't want people to think it's just a little wrinkled---it is much more than that!)

So, I called this morning to tell them I was going to try one of the t-shirts instead. They tell me that I can go into the Disney Store in my area to return, which I was unaware of. I asked her to send a prepaid label, as the Disney Store in my area is closed for remodeling and the closest one after that is 30 minutes away) First she says she can't send a label for purchases under 30 dollars. When I told her they sent one for the first sweatshirt--she says, yes but that was a one-time thing. Since this isn't "their fault" and it's me that "doesn't like it" they can't send the label! So now it's my fault that the quality of sweatshirt they are sending out isn't up to par! :guilty:

So, I am off to the Disney Store to get my refund so I can go shop ELSEWHERE for a personalized shirt which is too bad because the sweatshirt really is very cute!

On a side note, when they did this exchange they credited the amount of the shirt back on my Visa (which included a 10% off discount) and when they shipped the new shirt, they charged the amount w/o the discount. When I called to get that adjusted a few days ago, the lady told me that when I ordered the shirt it was "on sale" and now it wasn't, but she would credit the amount back "as a courtesy"! (Uh---thanks?) :confused3

I swore I would never order through Disney again due to a previous incident. (A watch broke after having it 3 months and they wanted to exchange it at half the price) So now I have definitly learned my lesson. I am hoping that this isn't how they treat all of their customers.

Has anyone else had bad c/s with them? (or great for that matter!) Just wanted to warn everyone---don't get the personalized sweatshirts and if you do order from Disney--hopefully you won't need to call C/S for anything! :sad2:
