Disney can help you lose weight if you live somewhat close. I just wanted to share that I've been calorie counting during the week. I use My Net Diary to track though here are a ton of ways to count calories. I eat as healthy as possible. Sometimes I swim or get my groove on with a little Dance Central.
But on weekends I drive an hour and a half to Disney and just WALK. I don't walk fast, in fact, rather slow since I have a 5 year old in tow, and on Disney days, I snack on whatever I want. I don't go crazy or stuff myself (I'd get sick in this heat anyway). But I do try yummy stuff....last Saturday I had a turkey sandwich, chocolate croissant, 1 soda, a LOT of water, a Dole Whip float, and a sweet cream cheese pretzel. I shared everything with my son.
Okay, not exactly healthy but we are very good the rest of the week. And considering how much we walked and that we shared, it wasn't that much.
At some point soon I plan to start picking more veggies and fruits there. But for the moment I'm having fun trying new things. I had NEVER had a Dole Whip and I still haven't tried a cupcake yet.
Anyways, must be working. I've lost 20 pounds in 2 months!
