My Disney Birthday Wish Came True! – June 2025 Trip Report (Updated 10/4!)

Looked like a magical MK morning!

Ugh about your terrible LL morning! That is super frustrating and the bad CM didn't help! Glad it was sorted out!

But, I don't know if anyone else ever experiences this, I have like pre-trip Disney blues. I know it's weird, but I'm just not as excited as I usually am for a trip

I always get extra anxious right before a trip worrying about literally everything from the house to my (adult) kids, the doggies, the weather down there, etc... I am a worrier by nature and have to go back to that old Walt quote, "Why worry? If you've done the very best you can, worrying won't make it any better."

My dog really started to show his age about two weeks ago (he's 12!), and I've been thinking way too much about end of life care and when I need to make the worst decision ever and even debating if I want to go on this trip with his fading health. He did perk up a bit in the last few days, so decided to keep the trip, but I've just been worried sick about him.

Speaking of sick, last week one of my coworkers came into the office super sick and actually went desk by desk to tell us all that he's "just there to spread a virus." Like WHAT?!?!?

Oh my, how rude and selfish! At least wear a mask and don't get everyone else sick!

Why is Disney's IT So SO SOOOOO Bad?

I always say "Billion dollar company, start up IT" It is very frustrating, especially since they are really moving toward all on line for everything.

So she just wasted about 20 minutes of my morning telling me I was doing everything wrong when she could have just helped right at the start.

That is so frustrating. She clearly just did not want to work

one of my coworkers came into the office super sick and actually went desk by desk to tell us all that he's "just there to spread a virus." Like WHAT?!?!?! He came in to do that, then went home since he decided he's too sick to be there.

Ughh that is annoying too! To play devils advocate, I am often afraid people won't believe me if I call in sick, so I tend (pre-covid) to be someone that shows up not feeling well, just to prove I really am sick and not faking it. I blame my parents who never let me stay home from school unless I had a fever.

the last two weeks have been super stressful.

This was me before my Alaska cruise last month. It seemed like every day leading up to it, something odd was happening. I literally just threw random stuff into a suitcase. One was packed picture perfect, the other I lovingly referred to as my "Meth lab" it was just so disastrous and I just had no energy to deal.

Day 5, Part 2: A Magical Morning, part 2!​

We last left off heading over to HM. There was a short line, and we just missed the cutoff to get in, but the wait wasn’t bad. While waiting I got pictures of the graveyard.



Totally unintended, but these are the two tombstones I have for my yard for Halloween, I had no idea they were next to each other at the HM! I've been too sick this week to put mine up, but now that I'm FINALLY starting to feel better I'll hopefully get them up in the next day or two and will post a picture of mine once I do!



After the HM we were into our first LLSP return time of the day for 7DMT so we made our way over there, after getting a photopass picture of course!



On the way we stopped at the Tangled bathrooms for my mom, so while I waited outside I got some pictures of the area with no one in them!



Finally, we arrived at 7DMT! There was a bit of a line in the LL, but not bad, took about 10 minutes to get on.



By the time we got off it was into our first LLMP at Pirates, so we headed over there.

After scanning in, I quickly booked us a LL for Space for 11:30.

Pirates was a complete walk-on in the LL, and soon we were on!



Once we got off Pirates is just in time for our next LL at 10:10 for TBA, so we headed over there.

I will never stop being disappointed that the Tangled area we got was restrooms. I mean, the area is done so well with the benches, the charging, the paint and details, the hidden Pascals etc. But restrooms?

Day 5, Part 3: A Magical Morning, Part 3!​

We last left off heading over to TBA for our LL.

Similar to the other LL rides this morning, there was a bit of a wait with the LL, but less than 10 minutes.



We had some time after TBA before our next LL, so we headed to the area by the bathrooms there to find some seats in the shade to rest for a bit and rehydrate. It was a HOT one that day!

We saw there was a photopass photographer back there as well, so of course we got pictures!!!



The CM told us to look like we’re dancing….apparently we both dance like Elaine…



Around 10:45 we headed out again and decided to take the long route through Fantasyland to Tomorrowland. I wanted to check stores along the way to see if any of them had journals (none did).

We also swung by Storybook Circus as well to look for a journal in the big top store, but still nothing. My mom did however find a small present to get for her sister. While checking out we got into a conversation with the CM about Florida wildlife, she was shocked we’ve never seen a gator in all our years going, we were shocked she’s never seen a snake down there (I swear we see at least once snake a trip)!

After making our purchase we continued over to Tomorrowland where we had our next LL at 11:10 for Buzz!



It was a fun ride, but neither mine nor my moms blaster was working well, like I put my hand out in front to see if the laser was working and it only lit up like every 10 times I pulled the trigger, my mom’s was having the same problem.

When we got off of Buzz it was almost time for our Space LL, so we headed over there. Since we were about 2 minutes early for the 5 minute grace period we decided this would be a good time to ask about the alternate DAS accommodations at this ride. I can’t remember if I mentioned this before, but my mom was denied DAS for this trip. To be honest, I was shocked when she got it in the fall with the changes, but this time around I figured since she had been approved already since the changes, she’d get it this time too, but I was wrong. The CM she spoke with this time around told her it was only for people with an official autism diagnosis, no one else.

So we had wanted to talk to the CMs at some rides to get an idea of the various accommodations that we could work with now. The CM at Space was super nice and explained to us that for this ride there were two options. First, I could wait and then when I got to the front I could call my mom and then they would let her go in through the LL to meet me. This unfortunately wouldn’t work for us since my mom doesn’t have a cell phone and has no desire to get one. The second option would be we wait in the regular line until a point she couldn’t wait any longer, then we could leave the line and tell a CM before we exited what happened, and at that point they would issue us a return time similar to DAS. So good to know! Fortunately for us though, we had LL this morning.

We scanned in and made the loooooong trek to the load zone. We lucked out and got the front of the rocket!

At the seatbelt check, the CM saw my birthday button and wished me a happy birthday, but then asks if that day was my actual birthday, so I admitted it wasn’t. Oh man, he acted SO offended, and was all “why you be lying to us?” and “this is why I have trust issues!” HA!!!!!! Before he sent us off, he announced to the train he hoped everyone had a great ride, except for me since I’m a liar. HA!!!!!



After the ride we browsed the store for a bit, still on a hunt for a journal. No luck with the journal, but I did get a really cool Tomorrowland shirt.

As we were leaving we got stuck by a cavalcade, so got to watch that before making our way out.
