My DH is really asking for it!!!

Okay so we go to Disney about twice a year and we have talked alot about buying into DVC lately. So John and my mom tell me that this year they want to go to the Grand Canyon instead of Disney....Okay first I've been there and although it was pretty the drive was AWFUL! (they HAVE to drive and see all the sights ) Excuse me WHAT SIGHTS there is nothing but plains and prairie dogs! Okay so I have about accepted the fact that no Disney until probably next September or October.......I have accepted the fact that I will probably end up on this road trip to the Grand Canyon (there has to be some way to get them from the Grand Canyon to Disneyland right??) Okay so today at lunch John comes in with 2 vacation books from a local travel agent and guess where they are for...........WDW!!!!!!!!! Hello he is really pushing his luck!!!!!!! Even though we don't ever use a travel agent as you can go so much cheaper yourself...still its pictures and we just got back and I want to go again!! So if he doesn't watch it I'm going to book it and have the rooms paid for before he can plan anything else out west!!!!

If the trip out west happens, i'd fly to Vegas and hang out at a hotel until they get there to pick me up. I'm sure I'd find something to do......

LOL! Yeah did Vegas before too but way before all of the new stuff opened up. I was only 17 so that was......13 years ago. I remember they had just started building Exchaliber when we were there. I bet its really something now...but personally I would rather fly on out to Disneyland and let them pick me up

Has your son seen the Grand Canyon? WDW is great and we always have a fun time, but there is so much more of the country and world to see. I can see his point, show your son some more of this wonderful country. I'm sure you won't regret it. Especially if you go twice a year, I think it's only fair to rotate off a vacation somewhere else.

I went to the Grand Canyon last year when we were at Vegas. I was bothered about seeing it but OMG it was WOW!!! I would love to go back again some day.
