Two weeks ago she pulled the , mommy I'm sick excuse and being that she never does that and that a couple other kids in the class had the same thing that week, I kept her home. Let me tell you , she drove me nuts and behaved like nothing was wrong all day long. Today she did the same thing, mommy, I don't feel good. I looked at her and said, have the school nurse call me after you throw up and I will go to pick you up. Instantly she felt good again! Don't you like that? They are so sick and in the blink of an eye, they feel good again!
Arggggggggghhhhhhhhhh.

If we were sick, my mom used to put us in our room with a book, some pencils, paper and crayons. That was it..........no TV, movies etc. You were expected to stay in bed (or at least in your room)
As she said, "If being in school, sitting at your desk, doing your work is too hard for you because you are so sick, then we'll have to make sure that what you do here is even less strenuous." If you really were too sick, it wasn't a problem. You didn't want to do much anyway. However, if you weren't really sick, it was so boring that we only tried this once before we decided that whatever was going on in school was better than this !!!
