when her DD was born, she said several things. One was that she would not dress her DD (my DGD) in frills nor force her to wear those bows & baby headbands. Another was that said she would never give her a "spit washing", you know, those saliva-dripping fingers that can clean anything from your child's face.
Well, today in church, I observed her give her DD a little spit washing on her forehead (I didn't see anything to wash but, oh well...) and then adjust the precious bow velcroed in her hair.
..... and we bought her first Easter dress yesterday and it has tulle & yellow rosebuds & satin & puffy sleeves. No lace but defintely not Baby Gap!
When all of the legal proceedings are over and she is securely protected, out of harm's way, I promise pics. By that time, she may actually be in lace!
