Went to WDW today(gawd, I love this place!) Specifically, the MK. Arrived around 10:30 am when the masses were arriving. Being a Sunday and Spring Break, I expected crowds, but that was ok with me, I don't care as long as I get my Disney fix.
Anyway I parked my car and headed to the tram loading area where there were hoards of people waiting. It took three trams until I was able to get on one. Arrived at the TTC after the tram ride and love being able to bypass the the ticket line because I have an AP. Now I have a decision: how will i get over to the MK, do I take the ferry or monorail..Hmmm.. Monorail wins! I head towards the monorails and notice a long line of people waiting for the express monorail so I do the old "i know all the tricks routine" and head over to the resort monorail, where there was nobody waiting! I was even able to ride up front with the pilot. The monorail driver was actually being trained how to drive it so I was surprised they allowed guests in there with him. After the monorail arrived at the MK, the new driver gave me a monorail co pilot's license! I was thrilled..lol
I proceeded onward to the Mk, thru the bag check area and thru the ticket turnstiles and I am on Main St! Yippee! I love stepping thru the tunnel and on to Main Street hearing all the familiar sounds of the Mk. I wandered around Main st. for a while, soaking up the atmosphere, window shopping and peole watching. The i was getting hungry, By this time it was almost noon. I read in the times guide that El Pirata Y el Perico Restaurante (the taco place across from Pirates) was open . I love the tacos there so I headed over there for lunch. After a leisurely lunch I wandered through frontierland taking in the sights. Then over to Tomorrowland where I rode TTA. I rode TTA in the car behind me were three teenagers who had a radio with them and were listening to there blaring music while the ride was going, ruining the ride for me. So after the ride was over and they disembarked, I went around for a second, quieter ride. While I was riding the second time, I noticed the new Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor was open so when I was finished i went to see the new show. The show was pretty good. I enjoyed it and the other guests seemed to enjoy it, too as there was alot of laughter. Did a couple other rides then went over to Epcot via the monorail for awhile. Then When i was returning to the Mk from Epcot on the monorail, I was talking to a lady who was visitng WDW for the first time and she had a lot of questions and i was glad to answer them for her. Arrived back at the mk, had some dinner at Cosmic rays, did some shopping then headed for home. The parks were crowded, but not as crowded as i though they would be. I am sure as Spring Break progreses thru the next few weeks the crowds will thicken considerably. I had a nice day. And cant wait to go back :)

Thanks for sharing! I am psyched to check out the Monster's Inc. attraction in a few weeks!! And don't you just love it when you can help out a newbie? Sounds like a great day!:)
