I am so sorry to hear that!! My 6 year old DD had ecoli last year over Thanksgiving and was out of school for about 2 weeks, I have never seen her so sick. I thought I had had fever and chills and knew what they were, but I have never witnessed something like that before. She was burning up but literally shaking so hard her teeth chattered. I wrapped her up and practically laid on top of her to try and stop the chills, meanwhile I could feel the heat just coming through the blanket. Thank God she didn't have to be hospitalized and suffered no lasting effects. Will definitely say a prayer for your little peanut!
I am praying for a full and speedy recovery. We have an 11 yr old too. They're so grown up sometimes, but when they're sick, they're still your little girl.
Linda, I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter! I hope she is feeling better very soon. Lots of prayers and pixie dust headed her way! And your's too.
Prayers and Pixie Dust going out to you and your daughter. It is so hard to see our babies suffering. I hope she has a speedy recovery and is back to her normal self in no time.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I believe in the power of prayer.
She didn't tolerate fluids too well today, so she's hooked up to an IV again overnight. Hopefully she does better tomorrow and her test results continue to look good.
Thankfully her pain is better. She has an acute colitis as a result of the infection, and it's going to take a while to get her system back to normal again.
