She is visiting family in Orlando and was at Celebration today but didn't have time to say anything else - what is there to actually do there as a visitor?

There are a few fantastic restaurants, an ice cream place, and a little pond to walk around, or sit in their many rocking chairs. There is also a Disney-like fountain for the kids to play in.

Many weekends there are festivals to attend... art festival, crafts, etc.

We love to go and eat outside for breakfast, or rock in the swing-like tables at the Town Tavern while eating dinner.

We have relatives that own a few condos there. One time when we visited, there was a Disney "warehouse clearance sale" going on in a big building there (someone later told me that it was a school we were in). They said that they do that from time to time. We got some great deals on shirts, caps, etc.

I love the restaurants and shops. Merely strolling there is nice. :teeth:

Looked at houses there. Overpriced and crammed in like flippin sardines.

Unfortunately the ice cream parlor has closed :sad2: It's funny as there have been 2 different ice cream places there and they both didn't last that long.
There are a few shops there that carry a lot of collectible type merchandise and a lot of Christmas decorations like rugs and ornaments. A few restaurants, coffee shop, childrens clothing and a pizza place.
The Goodings small supermarket closed down but something is due to open up in there in a few months.
There is a couple banks,a post office, travel agency,Electric car and segways,
cable office, dentists, ortho,as well as Celebration hospital.
There is a frame shop, an art gallery and a few other little businesses on Celebration Avenue.
There is also an AMC movie theatre with 2 screens.
In the fall there is a Fall festival with Pumpkins and craft shows. At Holiday time there is a Winter Festival with "snow" and Santa visits.
The sale that was mentioned is twice a year usually in May and October at The Celebration school. Great deals can be found at these.
There was just one last week for cast members over at EPCOT very similiar deals except it is cast members only where the Celebration school one is open to the public.
There are parking areas up and down Front street and Market street as well as places to park in lots so you can stroll through the town.
