I know a lot about the joys of a parent fighting their way out of rehab - it's a great feeling. And it must be bittersweet for him with the loss of you Mother.

Thanks everyone.

I do have to give the credit to my wonderful aunt. She just called me to tell me how well he walked to the bathroom! Every milestone is a THRILL for her. That is truly LOVE.

Her devotion to him is so incredible. Not once does she complain or regret her decision to move from NYC to the woods of Chattanooga to the man who raised her. She is a gem in my eyes and always has been.

I remember becoming an aunt at 10 and thinking I want to be an aunt just like her! 36 years later I still strive to be like her!

My Dad is truly blessed to have his baby sister taking care of him.
