what are you spending your coke rewards on?
The rewards are getting worse.

Nothing right now. Just accumulating them as there really isn't much available that we want or need at this point. I am hoping that when the 'economy' gets better then the reward choices will also improve.

We just signed up for Coke Rewards. We don't buy many Coke products so our rewards don't add up very quickly. I just use them to enter the sweepstakes. Maybe I'll win the "$1,000 to Pay Your Bills" sweepstakes! :thumbsup2

I get the AMC movie tickets - we don't have AMC here but my daughter lives in Orlando and she is always going to movies so it works well (for her!)

I used to use them to buy $1.00 coupons but they haven't been up there since someone printed a link on line and everyone printed out hundreds of coupons without redeeming reward points. :sad2:

:)We have been redeming them for the free powerade coupons. I know it isn't much but ds plays baseball, season just started and he goes through powerade like water. Something I would have had to buy anyway so at least I get them free.

DH used a few to get the coupon for the Free Powerade (we've gotten this one twice. As DD is on a travel softball team, we go through a lot of Powerade!

I've used points for magazine suscriptions, free movie rentals from blockbuster.
I'm thinking of trying the restuarant.com gift card.

Just curious, How many points do you all have accumulated? Right now I'm at about 2600.

Also, I don't want to give bad info but I heard from a friend of a friend that the coke rewards program was supposed to end Dec. 2008 but they extended it for another year. Should be ending at the end of this year. That may be why selections of rewards has gone way down. Anyone else heard this?

I've been disappointed with their choices lately, too. I used to use them for AMC tickets, but then they raised the amt. of points needed. I'm really hoping that they bring back the Subway GC's they had at Christmas time. For right now I've been getting the free Powerade coupons, too. I'm going to redeem them to take on our WDW trip in June.

I'm also thinking about a Snapfish photo book, maybe for a Christmas gift.

We have used them for magazine subscriptions also. We wanted to use them at the beginning of the year for Universal tickets, but they did away with those.

DH has a boatload of these points saved.

I didn't know they had this one as I usually don't look at the sweepstakes (never been very lucky with those) but that is definately where I should use my points. Thanks HeyIt'sMe!

I had heard about the extension too.

It's been scheduled to end at the end of the last few years and then been extended each year with a decline in choices/points/etc.

I am not happy that I am now paying 480 for a silver AMC when I orginally paid 220 for an AMC Gold and could put ten codes a day in but it still averages out to one free ticket a month so I am still doing it.

Keep an eye out, though - things slip in. I got a $35 Air Tran voucher for 1,000 points in April. A week later there weren't anymore.

Also, when entering the sweepstakes, read the official rules. The last two Disney vacation sweeps have had an alternate entry method that required a couple extra steps, but gave you up to 50 free entries each day!

Yeah the things that slip in slip out almost as fast -- I don't catch them like I used to when I was inputting codes everyday.

But along those lines last year I was able to get all the college age nephews Subway gift cards for Christmas, I got Visa 25.00 gift cards, a few other things too.

They have "planned to end" this program about 3 times since it started. It really bothers me. They get everyone to cash out for the good prizes and then magically extend the program and bring back crap prizes. Ugh.

They had a $10 tgif gift card the other day and now it's gone and replaced with a $5 one. I think the points are the same. Unreal. I have gotten free 12 pack coupons in the past but now they want too much to make it worth it. I've also gotten the free powerade coupons.

I'm thinking of the free amc tickets but they aren't so worth it either. We need 5 of them if we go with the kids and that adds up to too many points.

We got a lot of points free from dh's coworkers so I guess anything is worth it in some ways but honestly nothing is really worth it anymore if you pay for the amount of soda needed to redeem for anything good.

Last year I got a Subway gift card and a Visa gift card. The Visa card was in conjunction with the Olympic promotion and was an online card. I have been saving my points and was up to over 5000 in anticipation of some other type of gift card this year. But I finally did the $1 coupons and some free 12packs. I too was disappointed that someone posted the $1 link so others could print it without using points. The free coupons were mailed and took about two weeks to arrive.
I am thinking of doing the Nike one, but that is a lot of points and the conversion doesn't match previous gift card totals.

I drink a lot of coke, plus co-workers give me some of their codes. And I am not above picking caps up in parking lot much to the embarrasment of my 14 year old DS.

I use mine for Priority Club points, so I can save up for free hotel nights at Holiday Inns and others in the chain.

I don't drink much soda, so I get most of my points from bottle caps I find when I'm walking around town. You would be amazed at how many of them people throw away. (And don't get me started about the amount of trash people seem to dump out their car windows in general.) Anyway, good luck collecting the points! :)

I just joined Mycokerewards after much pushing from my cousin and now all the good stuff is gone. I just cashed in most of what I had for the $5 TGIFriday's card. I am sad to see the $10 card gone, because there doesn't seem to be anything else very good out there.

Just my luck :goodvibes

After repeatedly saving up for a prize only to find it gone when I'd accumulated the points, I finally just started getting the 20 oz coupons. Works out the same as those "1 in 8 wins a free bottle" games they used to run. Nothing else is worth it points:dollar wise.
