Carousel Inn and Suites

My room was lovely! It was extremely close to DL, I loved the walk, especially solo. It was an ideal spot for me.

Wow! Thanks Mike! I have always admired your pictures, so that is a true compliment from you, in my opinion!

I use Lightroom. I have been known to use photoshop elements sometimes with a little Topaz adjust, but for my Disney pictures, it's been only LR this time. I love it.

I decided to get some ice cream and sit on the curb to wait for the fireworks. To be honest, I laughed a few times because I heard people comment that everyone was sitting on the curb waiting for the nighttime parade! I thought that they must have been WDW regulars who didn't know that there was no parade at DL anymore. Or maybe they didn't realize that the Main Street Electrical Parade had moved. I sat and waited, then stood up and had a great view of the castle. I was tired, emotional (due to exhaustion: travel day, and a four hour time difference, and due to all the emotional crap I was going through) and CRANKY. So when the person directly in front of me put their kid on their shoulders and I could no longer see the castle, I couldn't stand standing on Main Street anymore. So I moved to the end of Main Street, found a bench where I could still see most of the fireworks and sat and cried! LOL No pictures of the fireworks, I figured I'd be back another night to see them. I wanted to truly experience them this night. And I'm terrible with FW pictures because I can't be bothered with a tripod.

But then the little kid got put on the shoulders. And I was cranky. I normally have no issues with that, so I know it was just everything I was going through and the exhaustion. But I was annoyed! I had sat on the curb for quite while, at least 45 minutes or so. I am just glad that I was aware that I was cranky and I didn't say something, because I hope that little kid got to enjoy the fireworks.

Must be that Disney spirit for you to hold your tongue and then hope that the kid had a good time watching the fireworks. Again nice series update with the photos. Thanks for the heads up on Lightroom. I tried it for a free trial and then never purchased. I put most of my images on an Apple desktop and use their quick adjustments in Iphoto. I am toying with the idea of getting it again though.

I think my favorites of this go around have to be the Mary Poppins ones. That movie is my favorite Disney film followed by Lady and the Tramp and then probably one of the early classics.

Mary Poppins is so much fun to photograph, but Bert is much funnier! You're not going to be waiting too much longer for Club 33 pictures. I just uploaded the first batch of pictures from that day.

Thanks! It was quite overcast, but it was nice and it made the reflections at Paradise Pier show up quite nicely.

It's my car! The two girls I was sitting with wanted me in the middle, and their mom and step dad sat behind us with another single rider. I asked them if they were sure and they were quite adamant that I take the middle seat. Sweet girls. Not sure why they thought I should get the middle seat.

Nice series of shots once more. Would be interested in the photopass shots to see how they turned out! You have a great eye for photography.

We did get back from DL on Monday. What a whirlwind trip. We burned the candle at both ends and I was so exhausted. Club 33 was fantastic. Still can't wait to see your photos and your experience too!
