I wish! I was at WDW in August. I just hadn't updated my signature, so I did that the other day. I am still in shock that I went to DL in July and WDW in August... of the same year!

But then the ride broke down...

And then they announced we couldn't take anymore pictures. I waited about 10 minutes or so I guess and then I got escorted off the ride. That had never happened to me before. They told me to wait at the accessible entrance to ride without a wait, but I waited a bit and decided to head off without riding, thinking I'd get back to it later. Never did though, oops.

Image 5931 of the wide shot of fantasyland with those gorgeous blue skies was one of my many favorites of the last few posts. On those wide shots were you using an ultra wide angle lens? I didn't bother going to flickr looking up the exif info.

Thanks, I loved that one too.
I used my Sigma 10-20mm lens, but it's on a crop camera, so I'm not too sure it would be considered a true ultra wide or not. It was at 10mm, which would be 16mm or so I guess.

I stepped off my boat and saw that Princess Merida was meeting behind me. I am not one for the meet and greets, but I really want to be! I want the pictures... I just feel that solo I'm a little uncomfortable, and I can't figure out why!
But I loved Brave, and Scotland is totally on my bucket list, so I thought I would step out of my comfort zone and meet her. I will share my photopass pictures later, but for now there are a few that the handler took with my camera.

To be honest, I didn't enjoy Toontown. It was just because I was alone. I think I would love it if I had someone else with me! It was fun to take pictures in there though, and I know I'll go back, just preferably with someone else. There was so much I wanted to point out to someone else, but there was no one to point it out for!

So I'm guessing you started to feel better after the Club 33 day? I remember you said that you went back after the meal. Was this the same day?
It is hard to believe that on a 7 day trip you didn't hit Toontown before. Did you do anything else outside the resort area?
I remember on your WDW trip that you had another lady with you. Too bad she couldn't be with you on this trip so you could have some company.
Those photos over Sleeping Beauty Castle are stunning Tina! The skies are so dramatic. I like what you did with some of those shots as they almost seem infrared with that sky. I like your eye for photography. I wouldn't feel self conscious about the the photos with the characters. Do what makes you happy. It's your vacation.

I was feeling a little better, but for some reason I think I couldn't get used to the 4 hour time change! I don't normally have a hard time with it, but I did this trip.
On our 7 day trip in March 2012, we did a tour of Hollywood and a day at an outlet mall. We just spent a tonne of time roaming and doing our favorite things.
We had ice cream at the Disney soda fountain in the COLD March weather."Blanche" couldn't come with me to Disneyland, she couldn't get the time off... but she came with me to WDW in August.
Thanks for the compliments about my photography. It is a big hobby and I keep trying to improve. To be honest, the skies have been enhanced a little to make them look a little more dramatic. I found some free lightroom presets called "Big sky" and I use those and tweek them to the way I like them.
