I had a great day with my 2 guys. We ate breakfast in and I packed lunches for the day. We stopped at Kohls where I purchased a $30 watch for DS, doll for DG cousin $17, and a toy tool set for her little brother $25 all Christmas presents. Paid a total of $22 thanks to 30% off coupon, sale, and $20 Kohls cash. Drove 1 1/2 hours to another town. Toured museum free thanks to National Museum Day tickets $57.00 value. Ate our picnic lunch there and drove home. Shopped a little more online at Kohls. Picked 2 presents for DH, another girl's gift, and 3 new frying pans for our kitchen. Used 30% again and entered free shipping code. Spent $65 and saved another $90. Pleased with my results for today but tired and still doing laundry.
) for all of $20 for the three of us. Then went to Toys R Us grand opening event. Met Geoffery Giraffe, Spiderman, and Strawberry Shortcake. On the way out we were given free hand sanitizer and a free lunch bag. Not too bad.
. Fortunately, we only live 5 minutes away so I got tickets for the 2:45 show. We left and went to Walgreen's and bought some "movie theatre candy" which is 3/$3. Here's where I am "naughty"... we brought 2 bottles of water and a bottle of pop in my purse so we'd have something to drink during the show
. I know, I know..."no outside food or drink" but I'm sorry, I am not paying $4.50 for a 32oz soda
. I checked my Big Screen Movie Club card and found out that I have a free popcorn available
. So, we saw the show, ate candy and popcorn and enjoyed our contraband beverages and paid a total of $7 for the 3 of us
