Hi everyone! I've thought about this too much and would like some suggestions. DH and I are going down for F&W 10/6 - 10/15. We're staying at the Dolphin for the first 7 nights and then are switching over to the CR for the last two. We're not on the dining plan. I had every restaurant pretty well planned out. However, the disneyfoodblog and a thread on this board has me rethinking one of my planned ADRs, Bistro de Paris (this would be on the first night over at CR). Please, suggest a replacement or tell me something good about Bistro!

Currently, we have:
Teppan Edo (DH's favorite)
Le Cellier (I've always liked it, want to try the new menu)
Il Mulino (new to us)
Rose & Crown (new to us)
Garden Grove - Mediterranean night (new to us)
Raglan Road (new to us)
California Grill (my favorite)

We've done in the past (for dinner/lunch):
Tutto Italia (yum), Via Napoli (okay), Kona (yum), WCC (yum), The Plaza (yum), Chefs de France (yum), CRT (not that anyone would suggest this!), Yak and Yeti (blech!!!), Tony's (double blech!!!).

I had thought about Jiko, Sanaa, Narcoossee's, Citricos, or Artist Point, but would be open to others too. I'm willing to spend around what Bistro costs if the food is really good, but wouldn't mind spending less.

HELP!! :goodvibes

Just wanted to say, that if you have looked at the menu at Bistro de Paris and it appeals to you both, then i say go for it. You will always get different opinions on this board. For example, some restaurants I hate, others rave about (like Le Cellier)...and vice versa. Know what i mean?

I honestly dont recall many ppl talking about B.de Paris at all to be honest? I hear more about Chefs de France and how wonderful it is.

Funny thou, you like/dislike couple of the same restaurants I do! I hate hate hate Tony's....so gross. I love Teppan Edo! By far my fave at Disney!

Good luck with the ressies!

We love Teppan Edo too! I would suggest trying Boma. We like it more than Jiko and after dinner you can view the animals!!!

I have never eaten at Bistro but agree with the above poster that you should maybe give it a try if the menu is something you would enjoy.

That said, we absolutely loved our meals at Artist Point and Citricos last year. I think AP was our very best Disney meal ever! We have also eaten at Jiko twice, once we loved and once was good but not great. Trying Narcoosee's this year, never been to Saana.

Like the person who did the Disneyfoodblog review, we haven't eaten there in a while, but loved everything we had on our last trip. Unlike that person, however, I don't have any recent news for you.

I can say that the menu changes quite often, and what's there online may not necessarily be there when you sit down. Don't worry about the review. They make good food there, even if they occasionally mess up a dish. All restaurants do. Just stay away from the pork, if you're worried about current trends.

It's a great treat and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
