My best Monday, EVER! [UPDATE 3/30]

Usually I don't like Mondays - ok, I hate them. But today is my day! I weighed myself this morning out of curiosity and I've lost TEN POUNDS in the last month!!! TEN POUNDS I TELL YOU! Pardon me while I

Then, I had a job interview last Wednesday. Thought I might have bombed it because I didn't hear back last week. Well, I got called for a second interview today! My stomach is in knots, but I really want this job. I think my whole family is keeping their fingers and toes crossed, LOL.

Anyway, just had to share what a great day I'm having so far - and it's only 11:45am! Hope everyone else has a great day too!!!

Congrats on getting healthier and on getting that second interview! Break a Leg (I have a hard time saying "Good luck" because of my theatre background. *Plus* you obviously don't need luck..."luck" has nothing to do with it really, you're getting the second interview because you're good.

Um, honestly I think it was not going out to eat as often, portion control, and I've tried cutting back on a lot of the crap I had been eating. Now that the weather is getting warmer I'm going to start walking as well.

I haven't heard anything yet about my interview, but I'm trying to remain hopeful. I spent almost an hour talking with the people I would be working with, and it really sounds like a great job. *sigh* Hopefully I'll hear from them today. Keep your fingers crossed!

I GOT A JOB!!!! Not the job I spoke about in my initial post, but it's for the same company in a different department! I start MONDAY!!!!! Just had to share....

Congratulations! Today was a great day for you!

I had a training class once that taught us that if you hate Mondays and can't wait for them to be over, you are basically hating one seventh of your life. I never looked at a Monday the same after that.
