My baby went to the prom

Yep, she went. She is only a freshman in HS but the guy she likes is a junior. I was on the fence about letting her go, but didn't want to have her "boyfriend"(she had never called him that. They see each other in church and school) not be able with the person he wanted to take. We parents rented a Lincoln Navigator and one of the dad's from the community rented a tux and chaufferred them around. There were 3 couples. She had a really nice time and looked stunning. Her "date" is very nice and polite!!!!!

They grow up way too quick!!!! Here's a pic....

My DD went to the Prom as a freshman as well as her BF was a Junior. They are still together 5.5 years later, attended Prom 4 years in a row. She just finished up her sophomore year of college, he graduates from college next year.

I have to tell you though, my brain must not be working this morning. When I read the title of the thread, I thought it said "My baby was born at prom!" SO glad that's not the case!!! Like I said--my wires are crossed this morning!!

Yep, she eats pizza and everything else I wish she wouldn't!! I used to eat like that and be that thin, but it does have a way of catching up with you!!!! If I ate like her, you would be able to roll me around because I would look like a beach ball!!!!!!

That is me in the sig, she is a spitting image of me. Not so long ago I showed her baby pics of me and she thought that it was her. Everybody says the same thing.

Awww, Sharon, Your daughter is just beautiful! Her date is very handsome looking as well. Glad they had a great time, it is hard to watch your baby grow up infront of your eye's like that. I miss my Lauren. oh how I wish she where back home going to Proms!
