My Annual Borrowing Question, Please Review

Hi.

My first of the year, bi-annual borrowing question, please help or confirm:

*My UY is September
*I have 0 points for 2025
*I have 9 points left for 2026 (with trips booked for 2026 but guessing that doesn't matter)
*I want to plan a trip for October 2026, I can use my 9 points from 2026 and then borrow from 2027 because it's past September 30 2026, is this correct?
*I want to then plan a trip for February 2027, I can use the remaining points left in 2027 but cannot borrow from 2028, is this also correct?

#1 Yes. October 2026 is in your Sept 2026 UY. Will use the 9 from 2026 UY & be borrowing from the 2027 UY.

#2 Yes. February 2027 booking is still in your Sept 2026 UY. Can still only use 2026 points & borrowed 2027 points for that one. (No 2028).

(Points availability, when booking a reservation, go off your UY for that reservation. Points don’t go off calendar year..just your Sept UY).

Thank you SO much! We have owned for 17 years and I consider myself a fairly smart person but always need to double check my Disney point thinking LOL
