Here's my plan for a September Monday AK EMH morning:

- Arrive at 730am
- 8am ride KS, then Everest.
- By 9am, go to Dinoland and do Dinosaur with FP#1, then Primeval Whirl
- Use FP#2 for the Mickey/Minnie M&G after that
- Do either Tough To Be A Bug or Maharajah Trek then lunch at 11am at Flame Tree
- After lunch (around noon-ish) see Nemo then Flights of Wonder
- Use FP#3 for Kali between 1-2pm
- Check out the Oasis and leave around 3pm (ADR at Yachtsman at 545pm)

The real question is : do I need to worry about using a FP on a September EMH day for either Everest or KS? Should the standby waits be OK at this time?

It is very likely that your first fast pass at Dinosaur will not be required. If you arrive to a short wait I suggest not using the fastpass, switch it to a second ride on Everest or Safari. Your M&G will likely be pretty quick without fastpass also that early.

I've never been in September, but when I went in October a few years ago, we did use a FP for everest late morning.

Have you checked the show times? As far as I know, Nemo is a long show. And I think FOW is a half hour too? (I could be totally wrong)

I think FOW is about 15 minutes (it always feels short to me). Nemo is about 30-40 minutes I believe.

I have been to WDW many times in September. Until the last week, you will have no problems anywhere in AK. I don't go to parks on EMH days, but you should still be fine - especially before 11 am.

Always FP EE...then ride it again. :-)

That's what I was hoping for too.....

I just was wondering because I keep hearing stories about standby times for certain rides increasing since FP+ began. Didn't hear much about EE or KS though.

So I shouldn't need FP for KS or EE in the morning unless we are going to re-ride?

You didn't say if there were small children in your group, but in September at 8:30- 9 AM if you are willing to use the single rider line, and if it's open, you can probably ride EE as many times as you want until you get sick of it.

14 yr old daughter and wife that will finally be riding with me for the first time! I couldn't possibly get sick of it, but with them, who knows? Hope not.

Will I need to use a FP+ for Dinosaur before 11am? Would standby waits between 9-11am still be manageable?
