my alternative to a Cm disney album

I have a black 12x12 Cm album and today I got the cutest embrodiered sticker at my LSS that says "Disney". it is black with red trim really looks nice on the black cover.
I had the LSS order me a Mickey sticker too -to put under the disney title - it is really cute! . I know Cm would disapprove of my putting things on the cover but I LOVE it.

I am going to scrap lift that idea--- I have two Disney embrodiered stickers and a mouse ears!!! Thanks for the great idea, who cares what anyone else thinks.... its a great 12x12 substitute, until they can make a "big" book for our Disney stuff..... still many more trips to do.

That is an awesome idea! I have our Disney trips in several "plain" albums so that would make them look more "Disney-fied"! I have seen the embroidered stickers that you are talking about... it'll look great. Thanks for the idea!

For those albums that don't have a fabric cover, you can use the Disney rub-ons on the cover. I did this for my sister and put Ariel, Tigger, Pooh, and Tinkerbell on the cover with the word Vacation in the middle from the white and silver rub on set. Looks great too!

actually Cm wouldn't disaprove (i'm one in the UK) the official line is that the guarantee stands but they cannot reimburse you for any of the extra stuff you have added. I think it's a great idea

I also made my own CM disney album, but I added something else. At our local scrapbook store I bought a Mickey head shaped lock, like what is on diaries. It clamps right on the edge of your album and comes with a key. It's about and inch and a half wide and comes in silver or antique brass color. It really makes the album look cute. I cost about $4-$5.

I also made my own disney album. I bought my album from Kohls 50% off. It is black with stitching on it with an opening for a picture on the front. I was going to put a picture of us on the front cover but then decided to use one of my disney postcards with all of the characters and parks on it. It looks great. They also had these same scrapbooks in red at Kohls.

My digital camera isn't working at the moment, but it's really easy to attach. You just slide it on the edge of your album and take some pliers and clamp it tight. You can remove it if you want, but it leaves a dent in the cover of the album, so you probably wouldn't want to. You do the same with the back cover piece. the piece for the back has a little leather strap connected to it so when you close the lock your book stays closed. Just like a diary.
