My "Ah-ha" Moment and Free Dining Success

I tried so hard to book two rooms when the Free Dining offer came out - we're bringing DD and her friend for a Grad trip! By the time I finally got through - no luck for two rooms. Only availability was at All Star Sports, not where we wanted to be.

So I booked the All Star Music Family Suite. Not exactly what we wanted but it would do.

So in the middle of gardening today, it dawned on me that my date was 5 days after the start of Canadian Free Dining. If I were to change my dates, maybe I could get 2 rooms at POP or Music...

AND I DID!! I found rooms at POP - so I called and was able to get 2 rooms! It was even less money that the Suites.

I called Southwest - and for no charge and no difference in cost- changed our flight days! PERFECT!!!

I am over the moon happy and had to share!

It's a really good feeling! I had to stalk the site for days to get the days we wanted, but it paid off .

just wondering when you call southwest to change your flight dates .. there was no charge ??
I know for Air Canada there was a charge per person last year... dont remember how much it was ...but it was not cheap..

Yup! No charge with Southwest!! They are awesome for this!!

One of the reasons I like booking with SW instead of flying out of here. I think AC charge is about 75 pp. Not sure if that's one way or round trip. Gives me much more peace of mind in case something changes.
