....380 more hours I will be receiving my "Know before you go" travel documents from travel.trafalgar.com/travel‎ as well as the answer to the following riddle -


Will I or will I not be heading out to a WH house tour on Sept 7th, Tussauds Wax Museum and or Spy museum followed taking in the sights and sounds of a Nats game -

Got my fingers crossed that a WH POSITIVE email invite will be in my inbox in the next few days.......

UPDATES, SMUP DATES......

Well...... I finally did it -
I just put on order the Disney Lego castle and it will be shipped out shortly....
a week or so -

My way of looking ahead a wee bit I confess
but I will use this as a way to kick off my DCL 2019 adventure -
gonna b my biggest Leggo challenge yet but I feel im up to it.....
as long as I sip a 'few" margaritas along the way.


So b on the lookout for
my DCL adventure to officially kick off September 20th -
as pics and video from this will b posted on my DCL trip report......



In the meantime.....
I am now on the lookout for any WH email replies in regards to my request to tour the WH pm September 8th......

Ok folks - airline schedule change and not by me....by the airline.....

End result - my vacation just got extended by one day ....







Ok.... so if you were in Washington DC for a Sunday ......what would u do??

So ...... i'm half awake when I get this call from Trafaglar.com &.....

they kindly explain that flights got canceled for my departure day (ok..... so whats going on inside the Beltway that would cause this??) and they had to push out my departure day by one day.....



Hmmmmm.......
OK - I can handle this!



SO I put on my ever ol famous Pooh hat and began to think think think......
and
I thinked some more until -


VIOLA!

WHY NOT FORDS THEATRE????



All these years..... been trying to see this place -
FINALLY


FINALLY going to be able to see where it all took place -
an act that changed the course of our American history....

So, YES - fair to say we now have on the departure departure day a side trip to Fords Theatre..........on the 16th......

Followed by lunch out at the Hard Rock Cafe-



FYI -
on the 7th, its
1) Tussauds wax
2) Spy Museum
3) Ebbets grill at 8:30pm

and then tour of Capitol building etc on the am of the 8th......


IF IF IF IF IF......
no WH tour..........................


BUT
IF IF IF IF WH TOUR GRANTED.......
then its
1) Tussauds
or
2) Spy museum

followed by WH tour


FOLLOWED BY -

(and yes, I plan on sitting on the 1st base side) -



then Capitol building etc tour in the am with we all meet up at Library of Congress.......


and then afterwards - lunch at Eastern Market ....

then back to Hotel to meet up with all of my tour group.




Got all that???

Quick funny for the day ... So I am driving down the road with the moon roof open listening to the best of George Carlin.... And it got to the part, "The 7 words you can't say on tv"-

Well just as his was saying all 7 words ....at once....I drove by this little old lady off on my right- Now, just on a whim I looked up in my rear view mirror and saw her just standing there with her mouth open looking at me ....and with that , I decided to switch channels and listen to Some Radio Disney-

Been having fun recently reflecting on the fun of this upcoming adventure when I be danged if a childhood memory of mine bubbled to the surface. And it all had to do with this train. A train that really fascinated me as I was walking one day to school:

I KNOW! I remember walking down the railroad tracks to school (ok..... whats wrong with this picture??) when I saw out in the distance, a train that had stopped.


Both my brother and I walked up to it and all I saw was a train that had some windows in it that you could peer in and see some things that it looked like a lot of people were really curious about these things and the train in general.


NOW HOWS THAT FOR A CHILDHOOD MEMORY?
plus to me, this train also represents part of the American Spirit.



So.......
one thing lead to another, and before I knew it, up popped this thought bubble

and yes, I now have this Lionel Ho train set as of yesterday so yes, be on the lookout for me to slowly bring these things out into the open (pics and video) starting in late December...... which just happens to be my birthday - as I am crafting a Lego, Hotwheel, mini railroad.... city....set in Lego Washington D.C.

complete with a Cootie bug attacking the city and green army men defending the City.....


Hey - thats what happens when ya have some time during the week to chill out while sippin' on some much needed margaritas.....



and yes, I do promise it will also be Beagle Proofed -

Getting all ready for some sort of a DISney vacation next year so I thought this ....

OMG -

just found out that the travel docs 4 this adventure will b n my mailbox n 168 more hours!!


and ya know what dat means????


that means that yup -
that means that i will be breaking out the suitcase then and beginning to get things packed with the first thing I will be packing is an extension cord......

for all my electronic gizmos and such.
Still debating on whether or not to bring my laptop.....


Will know literally by game time -
No worries tho - I will still b blogging live -



Its just I have this motto I literally live by when I am on a vacation and that is:

1) In the real World, one plus one equals 2....... but in the Vacation World, one plus one equals eleven.

and

2) What happens on vacation, "Stays on the Internet."

FYI - feel I will know by time I receive my travel docs.... and if YES, then I will immediately turn around and get a ticket to Cubs at Nats baseball game for Sept 7th......

Issues at work.....

BAD NEWS:

Im going to be working literally up to Sept 6th with no days off -
......which means ive been working approx 60 days straight with only 1 day off -


But......
the good news is its giving me more of an opportunity to put more work ($) in on -

.... and it begins working on the Lego Saturn 5 rocket in mid October followed by what u c in the above video (but smaller scale complete with Lionel HO trains, Hot wheels cars, etc) in late December...


and as usual, pics and video of all this will be posted on my upcoming DCL Oct '19 TR u c listed below n my signature......
(this also gives the the ability to more more $ n2 my DCL adventure) -
